Monday, Nov. 14
Trespass: Redmond police arrested an adult male for trespassing at a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161 Avenue Northeast on Education Hill.
Vandalism: A citizen reported malicious mischief involving damage to his vehicle in the 15800 block of Leary Way.
Theft: Redmond police received two calls for theft. The first was at a school in the 10000 block of 166th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill at 9:56 a.m. The second call came from a business a business in the 16600 block of Redmond Way downtown at 2:47 p.m.
Car prowls: There three reports of car prowls made. The first was downtown in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway at 9:18 a.m. The second was on Education Hill in the 10900 block of 156th Court Northeast at 10:16 a.m. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was prowled sometime during the night. The suspect(s) stole his bowling bag and work identification card. The third car prowl was at a business in the 7900 block of 178 Place Northeast at 8:13 p.m. There are no suspects at this time.

Sunday, Nov. 13
Vandalism: Two vehicles were vandalized. The first was at 7:58 a.m. with a vehicle parked on a city street in the 14700 block of Northeast 76th Street in the Grasslawn neighborhood. The second was in the Overlake neighborhood in the 4800 block of 156th Avenue Northeast. The vehicle had a smashed passenger window. Nothing was taken or disturbed and the vehicle was still locked. No suspect information is available and no premise surveillance footage is available.
Thefts: Redmond police responded to five reports of thefts or attempted theft. The first was theft of a propane tank from a local hospital in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road at 3:20 a.m. A possible suspect vehicle has been located. The second was an attempted theft, also in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road at 10:01 a.m.
A bicycle was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 15300 block of Redmond Way in the Grasslawn neighborhood.
Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle taken from a department store parking lot in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road downtown at 2:08 p.m.
A business in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast downtown had a cellular phone taken from a display rack at 6 p.m. The incident was captured on security cameras.

Saturday, Nov. 12
Missing persons: Two reports for missing persons were made in the Overlake neighborhood. The first was at 2:02 p.m. by a mother in the 2600 block of 181st Avenue Northeast, who has not seen her 16-year-old son for several days. The second report was at 4:47 p.m. at a residence in the 18500 block of Northeast 25th Street for a missing juvenile. The juvenile was located and returned home with no incident.
Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a car prowl in the parking lot of a movie theater in the 800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. The passenger side window was smashed and an iPod was taken from the vehicle.
Theft: It was reported at 1:22 p.m. that a vehicle in the 18600 block of Redmond Way was taken without the owner’s permission by unknown suspects.
DUI: Redmond police made two arrests for individuals driving under the influence. The first was of a Seattle resident at 12:36 a.m. in the 17100 block of State Route 520. The second arrest was a male driver at 1:44 a.m., westbound on SR-520 to the 148th Avenue Northeast off ramp.

Friday, Nov. 11
Vandalism: Redmond police responded to a call at 7:49 p.m. at a residence in the 17200 block of Northeast 24th Street in the Overlake neighborhood. The victim reported driving down the road and hearing a loud noise against her vehicle door. There was an indent, which looked like possibly a mark from a pellet gun. No suspect information is known at this time.
Shoplifting: A woman was arrested for shoplifting wine from a grocery store in the 15800 block of Redmond Way at around 4 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 10
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to two shoplifting calls. The first was at a business in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in the Overlake neighborhood at around 4:30 p.m. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle that was later detained by police. One male was arrested for shoplifting. The vehicle was seized as evidence and towed to the Redmond Police Department. The case is currently under investigation.
The second shoplifting call was from at a business in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street at around 6:50 p.m. Charges will be filed through an investigation.
DUI: Redmond police responded to a collision at 5:11 p.m. in the 9900 block of Willows Road in the Grasslawn neighborhood. The causing driver was arrested a short time later for driving under the influence.
Reckless endangerment: A shot was fired at a residence in the 6800 block of 149 Avenue Northeast in the Grasslawn neighborhood at around 4:45 p.m. The suspect was arrested for discharging a firearm within the city limits.

Wednesday, Nov. 9
Suspicious circumstances: Redmond police stopped a vehicle at 1 a.m. in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street displaying a license plate tab belonging to another vehicle. Further investigation is required to see if the tab was stolen, the report said.

Tuesday, Nov. 8
Slashed: A woman called police at 2 p.m. to report that her vehicle tire had been slashed while she was at work in the 8800 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Monday, Nov. 7
Bike theft: At 10:22 a.m., it was reported that a mountain bike was stolen from the park-and-ride in the 16200 block of 83rd Street after the cable lock was cut.

Sunday, Nov. 6
Suspicious circumstances: At 5:17 p.m., it was reported that a suspicious item was located at a religious center in the 17500 block of Northeast 67th Circle.
Theft trouble times three: There were three reports of shoplifting, including one incident where police arrested a woman for three different charges. When police responded to the Sears in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast at around 3:30 p.m., they questioned the female suspect and discovered she was under the influence of methamphetamine. She was arrested for third-degree theft, possession of paraphernalia and third-degree driving with a suspended license. The other two shoplifting incidents were at a cellular phone store in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast and at a store in the 17100 block of Redmond Way.
Car prowls in Grasslawn: There were two reports of car prowls in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast and another in the 7400 block of 139th Place Northeast.

Saturday, Nov. 5
Missing person: Redmond police investigated a report of a missing person at 7:39 p.m. in the 16500 block of Northeast 37th Street. A husband got into an argument with his wife and left the house for the past two days without contacting her. There is no reason to believe there is concern for his danger, but his wife wants to ensure his safety if found, according to the report.

Wednesday, Nov. 2
Theft: At 11:51 a.m., a woman who works in the 9800 block of Willows Road reported that prescription medication and a gift card were stolen from her workstation.
Suspicious circumstance: An employee at a Redmond hospital in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road called police at 1:19 a.m. to report seeing a person looking into vehicles that were parked in the hospital parking lot.

Tuesday, Nov. 1
Burglary: At 1:40 p.m., a realtor reported a burglary at an unoccupied house for sale in the 3800 block of West Lake Sammamish.

Monday, Oct. 31
Vandalism: Redmond police investigated an 8:29 p.m. report of a vandalized motorcycle in the 2600 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. Possible suspect information was provided.
Identity theft: Redmond police responded to a 4:38 p.m. identity theft report in the 16500 block of Northeast 44th Way, where two store credit lines were opened fraudulently.
Graffiti: At 6:51 a.m., it was reported that graffiti was seen painted on walls at a school in the 3000 block of 180th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, Oct. 30
Theft: At 10:34 a.m., a man reported someone stole his garage-door remote from his unlocked vehicle in the 16200 block of Northeast 107th Circle.

Saturday, Oct. 29
Theft: At 2:05 p.m., it was reported that someone stole a tool box and several tools from an unlocked truck bed in the 16500 block of Northeast 37th Street.
Burglary: A man who lives in the 15400 block of Northeast 106th Way reported at 9:15 a.m. that someone broke into his locked garage and “took several items,” according to the police report.
Assault: Redmond police responded to a 1:48 a.m. assault report at a bar near the corner of Leary Way and Cleveland Street. No suspect was identified.

Friday, Oct. 28
Hit and run: A driver was arrested for suspicion of a hit and run after hitting a pedestrian with the vehicle near the corner of Northeast 85th Street and 166th AVenue Northeast.

Wednesday, Oct. 26
Shoplifting: Two teenage girls and woman were detained by store security and arrested by Redmond Police at 8:26 p.m. after they were caught shoplifting at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Tuesday, Oct. 25
Fraud and forgery: Redmond police received a forgery report and two fraud reports. The first fraud report came in at 10:49 a.m. from a local resident who lives in the 15800 block of Northeast 24th Street and the second one was reported at noon involving an ATM fraud incident in the 16300 block of Northeast 83rd Street. The attempted forgery report came in at 6:15 a.m. from the 8700 block of 141st Circle Northeast.

Monday, Oct. 24
Trespassing: At 8:52 p.m., Redmond police arrested three men for criminal trespassing in the 2700 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.
Stolen bikes: Redmond police investigated two different reports of stolen bikes — one in the 9900 block of Willows Road and another in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Vehicle prowl: Redmond police responded to a 2:13 p.m. report of a car prowl in the 16200 block of Redmond Way.

Saturday, Oct. 22
Domestic dispute: Redmond police responded to a disturbance near a bar in the 7800 block of Leary Way at around 10:30 p.m. A woman was arrested for assaulting her husband.
Hungry Canadian: An Ontario man was cited for reckless driving after he drove aggressively through traffic on the State Route 520 west bound entrance on West Lake Sammamish Parkway. He told police he was in a rush to get a meal.

Friday, Oct. 21
Fraud: A man called police after he became suspicious when a rental home in the 15900 block of Northeast 95th Way was offered at far below market rates. The listing agent confirmed the residence was for sale only and not for rent.

Tuesday, Oct. 18
Double trouble: Redmond police responded to a burglary at a business in the 9100 block of 151st Avenue Northeast at around 11:30 p.m. While conducting an area check, an additional commercial building in the same block had also been broken into. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, Oct. 17
Assault: Redmond police responded to a 10:11 p.m. report of a physical domestic assault in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street. The suspect grabbed the victim’s wrist and caused pain. The suspect was arrested, booked and transported to the Issaquah Jail.

Sunday, Oct. 16
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 30-year-old woman at around 2:30 a.m. for suspicion of DUI in the 18200 block of Avondale Road.

Saturday, Oct. 15
Graffiti: Graffiti was found outside a business in the Overlake area at around 10:55 a.m.

Friday, Oct. 14
False reporting: Redmond police are investigating a deliberate case of false reporting where a remote caller is attempting to harass residents in the 4000 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast by reporting criminal emergencies at their residences. Several recent cases are suspected to be connected.
Forgery: At 12:05 p.m., a doctor who works in the 15400 block of Bel-Red Road reported that a patient attempted to obtain medication using a forged prescription.

Wednesday, Oct. 12
Robbery with a knife: A man carrying an eight-inch knife robbed another man of his money at the Bear Creek Park and Ride in the 17800 block of Union Hill Road Wednesday night. The man reported the crime at 11:25 p.m. and is working with Redmond police to develop a composite sketch of the suspect, according to police spokesman Jim Bove.

Tuesday, Oct. 11
Drugs: Redmond police questioned two people in a parked car in the 1140 block of Avondale Road at around 12:30 a.m. Marijuana, paraphernalia and alcohol were found inside the vehicle. Charges are pending.

Monday, Oct. 10
Vandalism: A Redmond resident reported at 9:46 a.m. that street signs in the 9900 block of 171st Avenue Northeast were vandalized and defaced.

Sunday, Oct. 9
Stop lying: Redmond police arrested a man in the 8500 block of Willows Road for providing a false statement.

Tuesday, Oct. 4
Assault: At 5:30 p.m., Redmond police responded to a report of a fight at a parking lot in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. The victim said he can identify the suspects as police continue to investigate.

Monday, Oct. 3
Fraud: A woman who lives in the 2100 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast reported at 5:39 p.m. that there were fraudulent charges on her credit card.

Sunday, Oct. 2
Phone harassment: Redmond police investigated a 4:30 p.m. report of a telephone threat in the 10800 block of Red-Wood Road. The suspect and victim argued over the status of the suspect’s dogs and threats were allegedly made.
Domestic violence: At 1:53 p.m., a Redmond woman was arrested for assault after she scratched and slapped her husband in the 8200 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

Saturday, Oct. 1
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a 4:49 p.m. report of a theft at a grocery store in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street.

Friday, September 30
Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a 5:23 p.m. report of a car prowl and an attempted auto theft in the 3400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Drugs: Redmond police found a vehicle at a park in the 18800 block of Northeast 116th Street after the park had closed. The occupants of the vehicle were found smoking suspected marijuana.

Tuesday, Sept. 27
Assault: Redmond police investigated an assault at a bar in the 7800 block of Leary Way at 10:36 p.m.
Stolen vehicle recovery: At 9:30 p.m., a vehicle reported stolen out of the King County Sheriff’s Office was located in the 16600 block of Redmond Way.
Domestic violence: Redmond police responded to a 7:32 p.m. report of a disturbance at an apartment in the 7400 block of 159th Place. A person was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence.
Bush man: A man was seen walking on the State Route 520 on-ramp at 148th Avenue Northeast with two bottles of wine at 12:50 a.m. He stumbled into the nearby bushes and found by Redmond police, intoxicated. He was arrested after he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana. He was depressed and said he wanted to commit suicide.

Monday, Sept. 26
Assault: A student at a school in the 10000 block of 166th Avenue Northeast reported an assault at 3:34 p.m. The case is still under investigation.
Burglary: A Redmond couple who lives in the 2800 block of 183rd Avenue Northeast reported at 7:19 a.m. that their vehicle had been prowled and their garage had been burglarized while they were at home asleep.
Vandalism: There were two reports of vandalism in the Overlake area. The first one was reported at 6:15 a.m. by a resident who discovered someone had spray painted on the windows of her vehicle in the 17200 block of Northeast 20th Place. Then at 7:10 a.m., it was reported that graffiti was spray painted on the garage doors of an unoccupied residence in the 17200 block of Northeast 24th Street.

Sunday, Sept. 25
Car prowl: Redmond police investigated a 7:41 p.m. report of a vehicle prowl in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 17600 block of Redmond Way.
Saturday, Sept. 24
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 38-year-old man for suspicion of DUI after committing a traffic violation near the intersection of Avondale Road and Novelty Hill Road.

Friday, Sept. 23
Car prowl: A man reported at 8:02 a.m. that his briefcase was stolen from his father-in-law’s locked vehicle in the 16500 block of Northeast 44th Way sometime during the night. The suspect gained entry by smashing a window.
