Tuesday, Sept. 6
Reckless driving: Redmond police arrested a 22-year-old Bellevue man after an officer saw him going more than 125 mph on his motorcycle on State Route 520 near the 148th Avenue Northeast exit.

Monday, Sept. 5
Drugs: Redmond police arrested the driver of a vehicle for possession of ecstasy, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 5100 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway at around 11:45 p.m.
Counterfeit: Redmond police investigated a 6:13 p.m. report of a counterfeit $20 bill at a specialty store in the 7300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast.
Unlawful access: A woman who lives in the 9200 block of Red-Wood Road reported at around 1 p.m. that her vehicle was taken without permission by a cousin.

Sunday, Sept. 4
Burglary: Redmond police investigated a 7 p.m. report of an attempted burglary at a business in the 8300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. The suspect attempt to get inside the business through a window with a rock.
Purse snatcher: Redmond police responded to a 2:16 p.m. burglary report at a residence in the 13300 block of Northeast 89th Street, where a purse was taken from a garage.
DUI, drugs: Redmond police arrested a 27-year-old Seattle man for suspicion of hit and run, DUI and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute on Redmond Way at around 1 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 3
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a vehicle prowl at 6:11 p.m. in the 21700 block of Northeast Novelty Hill Road. The driver’s side window was smashed and two backpacks were stolen.

Friday, Sept. 2
Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a 6:52 p.m. report of a vehicle prowl in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. A laptop computer was stolen from the vehicle.

Tuesday, Aug. 30
Theft: It was reported at 5:01 p.m. that unknown suspects stole merchandise from a department store in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street.

Monday, Aug. 29
Laptop lifted: Redmond police investigate a vehicle prowl at around 6 p.m. in the 7800 block of Leary Way, where a laptop was stolen from inside the vehicle.
Glued locks: A Redmond resident who lives in the 6000 block of 137th Avenue Northeast reported at 4:30 p.m. that someone put glue in the door locks.
Lock it or lose it: A Redmond resident who lives in the 11300 block of 179th Circle Northeast reported at 2:28 p.m. that someone stole his mountain bike along several tools and equipment from his unlocked van.

Sunday, Aug. 28
Domestic violence: A man was arrested for domestic assault at 1:03 p.m. after hitting his girlfriend during an argument in the 9800 block of Avondale Road.
Kayak swiped: It was reported at 1:41 p.m. that a kayak was stolen from the Sammamish Rowing Association dock in the 5000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Saturday, Aug. 27
Domestic violence: A man was arrested for domestic violence at 4:26 p.m. for threatening to hit his wife, grabbing her arm to keep her from leaving and for taking the phone from her when she called police. He was booked into jail.
Fourth-degree assault: Redmond police arrested a woman for assaulting another woman at 1:53 a.m. at a tavern in the 7800 block of Leary Way.

Friday, Aug. 26
DUI: A 31-year-old woman was arrested for investigation of DUI at 9 p.m. on the State Route 520 westbound exit at Redmond Way.

Tuesday, Aug. 23
Car prowl: At 6:09 p.m., it was reported that someone broke into a vehicle, which was parked in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street, and stole a laptop computer.

Monday, Aug. 22
Theft: Redmond police investigated a 6:27 p.m. report of a stolen iPad in the 14800 block of Northeast 36th Street.
Marijuana: A juvenile was found to be in possession of marijuana after a 5:22 p.m. traffic stop in the 2800 block of West Lake Sammamish. The juvenile will be cited through investigation.
Disorderly conduct: While in police custody around 2 p.m., a man “caused an undetermined amount of damage to a police vehicle after a violent outburst,” according to the police report. The man was being transported from the Northeast District Court in Redmond back to the Issaquah Jail when he began yelling obscenities at officers. When he was put into the transport van, he began pounding on the door, causing it to bow, according to police spokesman Jim Bove. He was transported back to jail and received an additional charge of malicious mischief.
Fraud: At around 1 p.m., a suspect attempted to cash a fraudulent check in the 17000 block of Redmond Way.
Theft: At around 7:30 a.m., Redmond police investigated a theft at a construction trailer in the 11300 block of 178th Place Northeast.
Bombs away: It was reported at 6:53 a.m. that someone set of bottle bombs at an elementary school in the 17000 block of Northeast 104th Street.

Sunday, Aug. 21
Car prowl: Redmond police investigated a 4:54 p.m. report of a vehicle prowl outside a business in the 16500 block of Redmond Way. Someone smashed one of the vehicle’s windows and stole a wallet and cell phone.
Hit and run — and caught: Officers responded to a 2:14 p.m. report of a hit and run collision in the 8500 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. The suspect was later found and arrested.

Saturday, Aug. 20
False alarm: A woman called 911 at 12:17 p.m. and said she had a bomb at the QFC in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast, but then quickly told the dispatcher that “she was just kidding,” according to Bove. The woman was arrested and it was determined she was a “mental, emotional subject” and she did not have a bomb, Bove said.

Friday, Aug. 19
Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft that just occurred at the 7-Eleven in the 8300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast, where three teenagers walked into the store and one of them stole a 24-ounce beer. All of the teenagers ran away and police could not find them.

Tuesday, Aug. 9
Neighbor dispute: At around 5:30 p.m., Redmond police investigated a neighbor dispute over the cutting of tree branches in the 16800 block of Northeast 88th Street.
Theft: Redmond police investigated a 3:51 p.m. report of a prescription theft in the 18200 block of Northeast 99th Way. Possible suspect information was provided.

Monday, Aug. 8
Theft: A 22-year-old Woodinville man was arrested for suspicion of third-degree theft at around 3 a.m. in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.
DUI: At 2:06 a.m., a 23-year-old Burien man was arrested for suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at State Route 520 westbound and 148th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, Aug. 7
Assault: Redmond police arrested a 25-year-old woman at 12:54 a.m. for suspicion of assaulting her boyfriend in the 17600 block of Redmond Way.
Theft: A man called police at 8:11 p.m. to report that someone stole his bicycle while he was on a dinner date near the corner of Northeast 83rd Street and 161st Avenue Northeast.
Theft: An unopened flat screen was stolen from a vehicle while the victim was hiking in a Redmond park in the 21700 block of Novelty Hilll Road.

Saturday, Aug. 6
Animal problem: At around 4:30 p.m., a child was bitten by a dog who had gotten loose from its owner near the corner of Avondale Road and Avondale Way. Information was forwarded to King County Animal Control.
Theft: A man who lives in the 15900 block of Northeast 101st Circle saw on his surveillance video a man stealing his comic books. The man was hired to detail his vehicle.
Statue of limitations: At 1:20 p.m., a statue was reported stolen from the front lawn of a residence in the 7300 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Friday, Aug. 5
Threats: A woman who lives in the 18200 block of Northeast 95th Way, called police at 7:48 p.m. to report that she received a threatening text message from a former friend.
Theft: A bicycle was reported stolen at 1:23 p.m. from an apartment in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway.

Threats: At 7:46 p.m., Redmond police responded to threats made by an employee to an employer in the 15300 block of Northeast 40th Street.

Monday, Aug. 1
Washed away: Redmond police responded to a 3:49 p.m. report of a boat theft at a residential complex in the 17200 block of Northeast 45th Street.
Car prowl: At 1:31 p.m., a woman reported that her GPS unit was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while she dined at a restaurant in the 16900 block of Redmond Way.
Theft: Sometime during the night, someone siphoned fuel from two company vehicles and stole a vacuum from a third company vehicle in the 15200 block of Northeast 90th Street.

Sunday, July 31
Drugs: Redmond police arrested a resident for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at around 12:15 a.m. in the 9500 block of 180th Avenue Northeast.
Theft: An employee who worked at a store in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street was arrested for internal theft at 11:33 a.m.

Saturday, July 30
Fraud, thefts: There were two theft reports and another fraud report in the Education Hill neigbhorhood. The first report came in around noon for a theft from a building in the 11200 block of 184th Place Northeast. The second report was a theft from a vehicle at around 1:30 p.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 109th Street. The third was a report of an ATM fraud in the 9600 block of 169th Avenue Northeast at 2:44 p.m.

Friday, July 29
Burglary: A residence in the 18000 block of Northeast 30th Street was burglarized sometime in the middle of night.
Counterfeiting: An unknown suspect passed a counterfeit $20 bill to purchase an item at a department store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street.
Theft: An Apple computer was stolen from a building in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Tuesday, July 26
Assault: Redmond police responded to an assault that occurred behind the Bear Creek Safeway at around 3:30 a.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. The victim was struck in the head with a rock, but he would not provide any details of the incident. He was transported to Swedish Hospital and no additional victims or suspects were located.

Monday, July 25
Car prowls: There were two car prowls reported near downtown and another in the Overlake area. Redmond police were able to arrest a suspect in one of the reported car prowls at 7:43 p.m. in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, July 24
Theft: An MP3 player and loose change were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 9:22 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Shoplifting: At around 2:30 p.m., a woman was arrested for third-degree theft at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Car prowl: An iPod and GPS device were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 6:38 a.m. in an underground parking lot in the 6300 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Saturday, July 23
Assault: Redmond police arrested a 46-year-old man for fourth-degree assault in the 13400 block of Northeast 119th Way at around 1 p.m.

Friday, July 22
Drug paraphernalia: Redmond police responded to a 3:35 p.m. report of a suspicious circumstances where two people were hanging out inside of a vehicle in a residential neighborhood near the corner of 55th Street and 187th Avenue Northeast. An officer talked to the two people, who were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fraud: An employee of a business in the 17800 block of Redmond Way reported fraudulent activity by a customer.

Thursday, July 21
Phone threats: At 10:09 p.m., a woman reported that she received several threatening messages on her cell phone from an ex-boyfriend. The report is under investigation.

Drugs: Redmond police arrested a 17-year-old boy at 12:35 a.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia at Grass Lawn Park in the 6800 block of 146th Avenue Northeast.

Wednesday, July 20
Theft: Redmond police arrested two teenage girls for stealing clothing from a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Tuesday, July 19
DUI: At around midnight, Redmond police arrested a 20-year-old man for investigation of DUI in the 8300 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.

Monday, July 18
Theft: Redmond police investigated a theft of a gas trimmer taken from a storage shed at a residence in the 7100 block of 134th Avenue Northeast.
Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a parking garage in the 8300 block of 158th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, July 17
Drug possession: A man was arrested for alleged possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the downtown transit center in the 16200 block of Northeast 83rd Street.

Saturday, July 16
Shoplifting: Two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Reckless driving: Redmond police arrested a 32-year-old Bothell man for reckless driving on Northeast 40th Street.

Tuesday, July 5
DUI: A 50-year-old man was arrested for investigation of DUI in the 8700 block of Willows Road at 9:35 p.m.
Theft: At 10:58 a.m., a resident reported that someone broke into a locked vehicle in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street and stole a wallet.

Monday, July 4
Theft: At around 8 p.m., a man reported that the front and rear driver’s side windows of his vehicle parked in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish were smashed out and a gold purse was stolen.

Sunday, July 3
Neighbor dispute: A neighbor dispute in the 8800 block of 166th Avenue Northeast developed over a resident repeatedly revving the engine of his vehicle in the complex parking through the day and evening hours.

Saturday, July 2
Theft: At 7:41 p.m., a man who lives in the 16100 block of Northeast 83rd Street reported that his bicycle was stolen.
Arson: Redmond police received several report that mailboxes were damaged with explosives in the 17100 block of Northeast 98th Circle.
Graffiti: There was graffiti painted on several bus stop signs along 152nd Avenue Northeast between the 2200 and 2900 block.

Friday, July 1
Theft: A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Fraud: A Redmond man’s credit card information was used to make a $4.99 internet purchase.

Stolen vehicle recovery: A vehicle at an abandoned house in the 18200 block of Redmond Way was found to be reported stolen from another city.
Theft: Redmond police arrested a 28-year-old Federal Way woman for shoplifting at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Tuesday, June 28
Theft: At 9:12 p.m., a resident who lives in the 5000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway reported that the rear passenger window of his vehicle was smashed and a gym bag, filled with clothes, was stolen.

Theft: At 10:36 p.m., Redmond police received a report that a license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Pay up: Suspects took bottles of wine and cigars from a shop in the 16500 block of Northeast 76th Street and left without paying at around 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 26
DUI: Redmond police arrested an 18-year-old Redmond man at around 12:30 a.m. for investigation of DUI and possession of marijuana after he crashed into a fence in the 109000 block of 178th Circle Northeast.

Saturday, June 25
Graffiti: There were two reports of graffiti on Education Hill. The first one at 11:07 a.m. was spotted at a business in the 8700 block of 161st Avenue Northeast and the second one at 2:19 p.m. was spray painted on a business on 162nd Avenue Northeast.

Friday, June 24
Burglaries: At 2:43 p.m., a resident reported the he may have interrupted a burglary when he returned to his home in the 10300 block of 181st Avenue Northeast. Several items were stolen, including jewelry and electronics.
Theft: At 8:58 a.m., a woman reported that her purse was stolen from a Microsoft cafeteria in the 3000 block of 157th Place Northeast.

Thursday, June 23
Theft: At 2:51 p.m., a woman reported that her unattended purse was stolen from her shopping cart at a department store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
