<p>Thursday Feb. 2<br />
Car prowl: At 2:54 p.m., Redmond police investigated a motor vehicle prowl in the 11300 block of 183rd Place Northeast on Education Hill.<br />
Thefts and shoplifting: Redmond police responded to five reports of theft or shoplifting. There was a report of food theft from a restaurant in the 7200 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. Suspects can be Identified and the case is still under investigation. There was a report of an internal theft at a business in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. An employee was arrested and booked for theft. A purse was stolen in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street. Police responded to the report of an in-progress shoplift from a department store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road. A wallet and cell phone were taken from a school&#8217;s classroom in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street on Eduction Hill.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Feb. 1<br />
Assault: At 11:09 p.m., Redmond police investigated an assault at a movie theater in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast on Education Hill.<br />
Disturbance: At 7:46 p.m., Redmond police responded to a report of an altercation at a local apartment complex in the 6200 block of 137th Place Northeast in the Grasslawn neighborhood. One of the involved parties was seen leaving the apartment with a handgun. All involved parties were subsequently accounted for and the gun was not recovered.<br />
Suspicious circumstance: At 8:39 a.m., Redmond resident reported a possible burglary attempt in the 18500 block of Northeast 57th Street downtown.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Jan. 31<br />
Stolen bicycle: At 8:06 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of a bicycle theft that occurred in a secured parking garage at a local apartment complex in the 8800 block of Redwood Road.<br />
Recovered stolen vehicle: At 9:24 a.m., a stolen vehicle was recovered in the 17300 block of Northeast 24th Street.<br />
Threat: At 8:06 a.m., Redmond police investigated a report of threats in the 14200 block of Northeast 75th Street.<br />
Vehicle prowls: Redmond police responded to seven reports of vehicle prowls. Two were from the Overlake neighborhood, four were from Education Hill and one was from the Grasslawn neighborhood. An iPod, mp3 player, radar detector and sunglasses were among items taken.</p>
<p>Monday, Jan. 30<br />
Theft: There was a theft report at 7:16 p.m. in the 15700 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Vehicle prowl: It was reported at 12:28 p.m. that an unknown suspect stole some items from a car parked in an apartment garage in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway.</p>

<p>Sunday, Jan. 29<br />
Drugs: Redmond police arrested a 29-year-old Sultan woman for &#8220;several drug-related crimes&#8221; at 9:27 p.m. in the 9900 block of Avondale Road, according to the police report.<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a 38-year-old Sultan man for shoplifting at a store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road at 1:42 p.m.</p>
<p>Saturday, Jan. 28<br />
Burglary: Redmond police responded to a 2:08 p.m. report of a burglary at a residence in the 18500 block of Northeast 57th Way. There are no suspects at this time.<br />
Wrong plates: Stolen plates from another jurisdiction were recovered by Redmond police from a parked vehicle in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street at 1:41 a.m. The driver of the vehicle was unaware her valid platers were replaced by the stolen plates. There is no suspect information at this time.</p>
<p>Friday, Jan. 27<br />
Assault: Redmond police investigated an assault at around 5 p.m. at a park in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street. The assault involved two girls who attend Redmond High School (RHS). The information about the two girls was forwarded to the RHS student resource officer for further investigation.<br />
Burglary: At 4:08 p.m., Redmond police arrested a 17-year-old boy for burglarizing his neighbors&#8217; house of electronic items and alcohol in the 2200 block of 173rd Avenue Northeast. The burglary happened the night before and following the burglary, the victim contacted his neighbors to let them know what happened, according to Jim Bove, police spokesperson. Then on Friday, the neighbors found stolen items in their son&#8217;s room and told the victim. The stolen items were returned, but some of the alcohol had already been consumed, Bove said.</p>

<p>Thursday, Jan. 26<br />
Obstructing: At 10:29 p.m., a man was arrested in the 18100 block of Redmond Way downtown for obstruction and possession of drug paraphernalia.<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to two shoplifting reports in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown. The first was at 3:14 p.m. The second report at 9:39 p.m. Police responded to a shoplift in progress. One suspect was arrested along with a friend who picked him up.<br />
Assault: At 9:45 a.m., Redmond police responded to an assault report in the 7300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The victim reported that two unknown suspects pushed him to the ground from behind, while he was walking back to his vehicle behind a Redmond business.<br />
Marijuana possession: At 1:13 a.m., Redmond police conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.</p>
<p>Wednesday, Jan. 25<br />
Suspicious circumstance: Redmond police arrested a local transient with alcohol at 7:07 p.m. in a park in the 7800 block of 168th Avenue Northeast downtown.<br />
Theft: At 3:27 p.m., Redmond police investigated a theft complaint at Novelty Hill Road and Avondale Road. Police also resounded to a 11:48 a.m. call about a suspicious circumstance involving the purchasing of a tampered product in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. There are no leads at this time.<br />
Assault: Redmond police arrested a 28-year-old Redmond man at 1:07 a.m. after he allegedly assaulted his wife at an apartment complex in the 16600 block of Northeast 34th Circle.<br />
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 53-year-old man at 12:40 a.m. for suspicion of driving under influence following a traffic stop in the 16900 block of Redmond Way.</p>

<p>Tuesday, Jan. 24<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a 27-year-old Redmond man at 8:11 p.m. for allegedly stealing beer from a grocery store in the 15800 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Harassment: At 6:42 p.m., Redmond police investigated a telephone harassment complaint in the 9800 block of Avondale Road.<br />
Trespassing: At 4:19 p.m., Redmond police arrested a 51-year-old transient for trespassing in the 15800 block of Redmond Way.<br />
DUI: Redmond police arrested a Bellevue woman for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop near the corner of Redmond Way and 185th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Bicycle theft: At 10:52 a.m., a resident reported that sometime during last weekend, an unknown person cut a lock and stole a bicycle from a parking garage in the 8200 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.<br />
Vehicle prowls: There were two reports of vehicle prowls in Overlake and another downtown at a gym in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast.<br />
Where&#8217;s the driver?: At 6:05 a.m., Redmond police responded to a report of a running vehicle with the keys in the ignition in the 9000 block of Avondale Road. The vehicle was secured and the keys were placed in evidence for safekeeping.</p>
<p>Monday, Jan. 23<br />
Theft: Redmond police investigate a theft report at 4:15 p.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street.<br />
Illegal dumping: There was a 12:17 p.m. report of illegal dumping in the 14600 bock of Northeast 95th Street.<br />
Fraud: Redmond police responded to a fraud report at noon in the 8700 block of 160th Avenue Northeast, where an unknown person opened a checking account in the victim&#8217;s name.<br />
Burglary: Redmond police investigated a burglary report at 8:51 a.m. in the 9000 block of 151st Avenue Northeast, where a safe was stolen.</p>

<p>Sunday, Jan. 22<br />
Out of control: Redmond police arrested a 27-year-old Redmond man at 9:48 p.m. for investigation of making threats, assault and reckless endangerment in the 9800 block of Avondale Road.<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a 2:22 p.m. theft report at a business in the 17100 block of Redmond Way. The suspects were already gone when police arrived.<br />
Vandalism: A mother reported at 1:24 p.m. that her son burglarized her home in the 2900 block of 181st Avenue Northeast. He was eventually arrested for suspicion of domestic violence malicious mischief.</p>
<p>Saturday, Jan. 21<br />
Snowy joy ride: At 8:29 a.m., it was reported that an unknown person took a company vehicle for a joyride in the snow in the 4600 block of 148th Avenue Northeast, ran into pallets of steel tubes, locked the vehicle and then ran away.<br />
Vandalism: It was reported at 7:59 a.m. that windows on the east side of a school in the 3000 block of 180th Avenue Northeast were tagged with white paint.</p>
<p>Friday, Jan. 20<br />
Burglary: Redmond police investigated a burglary at a church in the 11500 block of 162nd Avenue Northeast at 2:53 p.m.<br />
DUI: A 34-year-old Sammamish man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at 1:44 p.m. in the 7800 block of Leary Way.</p>

Vandalism: At 9:55 p.m., a man in the 15600 block of Northeast 112th Street on Education Hill was arrested for domestic violence-related malicious mischief and an alcohol offense.<br />
Harassment: At 8:12 p.m., Redmond police investigated a harassment complaint in the 11400 block of 183rd Place Northeast on Education Hill.</p>

Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a local juvenile male for shoplifting at 3:17 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown.<br />
Fraud: At 8:49 a.m., Redmond police investigated a report for ATM fraud in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street downtown. The incident is linked to a fraud case out of Pullman. Police also responded to a fraud report at 3:39 p.m. on Education Hill. The victim reported her purse stolen in another city and her credit cards were later used in Redmond.</p>

Vandalism: At 2 a.m., Redmond police responded to Redmond High School where a vehicle was heard to be driving erratically in the parking lot. Police contacted the teenagers in the vehicle and then gave the names of the teenagers to the high school&#8217;s School Resource Officer (SRO).</p>

Burglary: At 11:33 a.m., Redmond police investigated a burglary of an outdoor storage shed at an assisted living residence in the 14400 block of Redmond Way.</p>

Domestic dispute: Redmond Police responded to a domestic dispute at 6:52 a.m. in the 9300 block of Avondale Road. A 19-year-old Redmond woman was arrested.</p>

Domestic violence: An 18-year-old Redmond man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence assault at 12:12 a.m. in the 9300 block of Avondale Road.<br />
Burglary:<br />
8:09 p.m., 15600 block of NE 40th St.: A resident who lives in the 15600 block of Northeast 40th Street reported an attempted break-in of his apartment at 8:09 a.m. Three suspects fled, two Bellevue men were caught and arrested, and a stolen car and stolen handgun were recovered. </p>

Burglary: Redmond police investigated a 2:05 p.m. report of a burglary at a construction site in the 1200 block of 164th Circle Northeast.<br />
Shoplifting: There were two shoplifting reports at a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way — one at 1:43 p.m. and another at 2:35 p.m.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Jan. 10<br />
Fraud: Redmond police investigated a 1:50 p.m. report of an attempted fraud at a residence in the 8600 block of 139th Avenue Northeast. Someone posted the house for rent without permission.<br />
Vehicle prowl: At 12:44 p.m., a woman reported that her vehicle was prowled in the 15000 block of Northeast 116th Street while she was on a bike ride with friends.<br />
Hot wheels: Redmond police investigated two different theft reports at the same apartment complex garage between 10 and 10:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway. A total of eight tires from two different vehicles were stolen. The first report came in at 10:03 a.m. and the second at 10:25 a.m.</p>

Warrant: Redmond police arrested a man for a misdemeanor warrant and for a criminal driver&#8217;s license violation in the 17600 block of Redmond Way at 4:13 a.m.<br />
Suspicious key: A man who lives in the 6300 block of 158th Circle Northeast returned from a two-day trip at 1:55 a.m. and found a strange key sitting on top of his dresser. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was missing.<br />
Fraud: Redmond police investigated a 10:07 p.m. fraud report in which a man who lives in the 7800 block of 170th Place Northeast sent more than a $1,000 to someone claiming to be in the United Kingdom.<br />
Theft: A bicycle was reported stolen from the 18600 block of Redmond Way at 11:55 a.m.</p>

Marijuana: A man was found to be in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop near the corner of Northeast 70th Street and Redmond Way at 1:57 a.m.<br />
DUI: A 31-year-old Bellevue man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was pulled over by Redmond police for impeding traffic flow on West Lake Sammamish Parkway near Leary Way at 1:26 a.m.</p>
<p>Saturday, Jan. 7<br />
Trespass: Redmond police responded to a 7:22 p.m. report of a trespass at an apartment complex in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway. A resident&#8217;s ex-boyfriend was on her balcony and set off the fire sprinklers before leaving.<br />
Fast getaway: At about 5:30 p.m., two teenage boys walked out of a store in the 16400 block of Cleveland Street with stolen merchandise. An employee ran after the teens as they jumped into a silver Volkswagon Golf GTI, which was already running and had two more males inside, according to Jim Bove, police spokesman. The employee opened the driver&#8217;s side door and attempted to remove the keys from the ignition. As he did that, the driver began driving away and the employee let go as the car drove away, Bove said. The two teens who entered the store are both white; one is approximately 6-feet, 150-160 pounds and the other is 5-11 about 200-220 pounds, according to Bove. The investigation is ongoing.<br />
Theft: Redmond police responded to a report of a theft at a business in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street at 3:18 p.m. An employee is suspected of taking money from his manager&#8217;s purse, according to the police report.<br />
Burglary: A business owner in the 10400 block of Willows Road reported at 6:24 a.m. that someone entered his business through the rear door and stole a 50-inch flat-screen television and standalone ATM machine. The investigation is still ongoing.</p>
<p>Friday, Jan. 6<br />
Fraud: Redmond police responded to a residence in the 17100 block of Northeast 83rd Circle at around 6:45 p.m. for a report of fraudulent activity found on their credit card.</p>

Phone harassment: Redmond police investigated a phone harassment complaint at 5:33 p.m. in the 2100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Theft: Redmond police investigated a theft of scrap metal at 2:15 p.m. in the 8800 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. The investigation is ongoing.<br />
Vehicle prowls: There were four reports of vehicle prowls, including three involving unlocked vehicles, on Education Hill between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. </p>
<p>Monday, Jan. 2<br />
Harassment: Redmond police investigated a harassment complaint at 8 p.m. in the 8900 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.<br />
Vandalism: Redmond police arrested a 28-year-old Sammamish woman for intentionally damaging another person&#8217;s truck in the parking lot of a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way at 7:21 p.m.<br />
Burglary: It was reported at 3:49 p.m. that an unknown suspect entered a person&#8217;s apartment in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast and stole personal property.<br />
Vehicle prowls: There were four reports of vehicle prowls in the Grasslawn neighborhood between 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.<br />
Theft: A man who lives in the 9600 block of 174th Place Northeast reported at 2:10 p.m. that two packages left on his porch while he was out of town for the holidays were stolen. He was able to recover part of the packing in a nearby neighborhood.<br />
Check cashed: A resident reported at 10:21 a.m. that a suspect cashed a personal check, which was stolen from her residence in the 3300 block of 181st Place Northeast.<br />
Noise complaint: Redmond police responded to a residence in the 18100 block of Northeast 105th Circle for a reported noise complaint at 12:13 a.m. The noise came from a juvenile party, which was broken up by police.</p>
<p>Sunday, Jan. 1<br />
Drugs: Redmond police arrested a 52-year-old Lakebay resident for drug possession in the 17900 block of Redmond Way at 12:56 p.m.<br />
Burglary: Sometime during the night, someone pried open the metal-framed glass front to a fast food restaurant in the 14700 block of Northeast 91st Street and stole the automatic change dispenser filled with coins. The cash drawer and safe were not damaged or tampered with.</p>

Theft: Redmond police responded to a 4 p.m. report of a purse theft at a business in the 17100 block of Redmond Way.</p>

<p>Sunday, Dec. 18<br />
Robbery attempt: A male taxi cab customer tried to steal money from a taxi driver at around 3 a.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street, but was unsuccessful. The taxi cab driver dropped off the suspect at an apartment complex, where the suspect attempted to steal the driver&#8217;s money from his coat using physical force, according to Redmond Police Lt. Charlies Gorman. There was no weapon involved. After a failed attempt, the suspect ran away and he was not located. Presently, there are no leads, Gorman said<br />
Assault: Redmond police arrested a man for assaulting his roommate and damaging property at 1 a.m. in the 13800 block of Northeast 73rd Place. Police also arrested a teenage girl, who was &#8220;exhibiting signs of impairment in a public area,&#8221; according to the police report.<br />
Theft: Redmond police arrested a man for shoplifting in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Saturday, Dec. 17<br />
Trespassing: Redmond police arrested four men for criminal trespassing at the former Group Health site in the 2700 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.</p>

Bad dog: Redmond police responded to an 8:39 p.m. report of a dog bite at a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.<br />

Theft: Redmond police arrested a woman for shoplifting at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast at 2:39 p.m.<br />
DUI: At 3:44 p.m., Redmond police arrested a man for driving under the influence in the 16000 block of Redmond Way.</p>

DUI: At 10:13 p.m., Redmond police arrested a driver at Northeast 76th Street and 146th Avenue Northeast in the Grasslawn neighborhood for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.<br />
Embezzlement: Police responded to a report of an embezzlement at a local sandwich shop in the 17800 block of Redmond Way downtown. Unknown suspect(s) took approximately $400 from a safe over the period of a month.<br />
Bicycle theft: A citizen in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway in Overlake called police at around 4 p.m. after finding his bicycle missing and presumably stolen. The case is under investigation.<br />
Dark Christmas: At 9:52 a.m., Redmond police took a report of a theft of Christmas lights from a local residence at the 10400 block of 180 Court Northeast on Education Hill. No suspect information at this time.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Dec. 14<br />
Bicycle theft: Redmond police investigated a 4:28 p.m. report of a stolen bicycle at a department store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. The bike was stolen from the store&#8217;s bicycle rack.<br />
Theft: It was reported at 11:41 a.m. that a man stole two televisions from a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way and then drove away.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Dec. 13<br />
Theft: A man left his backpack on the sidewalk near the corner of Redmond Way and 170th Avenue Northeast at around 4:30 p.m. and an unknown suspect stopped their vehicle and stole the backpack.<br />
Burglary: Someone entered a home in the 18200 block of Northeast 92nd Street sometime during the middle of the night through an unlocked door and stole a laptop computer.<br />
Car prowls: Redmond police received three car prowl reports — two downtown and one on Education Hill.</p>
<p>Monday, Dec. 12<br />
Theft: A wallet was reported stolen at 9:26 p.m. in the 2100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested three women for shoplifting at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast at around 6:30 p.m. All three women were booked and released and they will be charged through investigation.</p>

<p>Monday, Dec. 5<br />
Family theft?: A resident who lives the 16300 block of Northeast 99th Street reported missing jewelry at 11:40 a.m. and identified a relative as a possible suspect.<br />
Car prowls: There were four reports of vehicle prowls — one downtown, one on Education Hill and two in the Grasslawn neighborhood.</p>
<p>Sunday, Dec. 4<br />
Sinful purse snatcher: There were two reports of theft at a church in the 17900 block of Northeast 65th Street. At 10:38 p.m., a woman reported that her wallet was stolen out of her purse. The thief then used a credit card at a Fred Meyer store in Bothell. The investigation is ongoing. The other theft was reported at 8:35 p.m. and a purse was stolen.<br />
Trash or treasure?: Approximately 12,000 pounds of scrap metal was stolen from an outdoor unsecured dumpster bin in the 15100 block of Northeast 90th Street at around 1 p.m.<br />
Assault: A woman was arrested for assault at 10:59 a.m. after police responded to a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex in the 6000 block of 187th Place Northeast.<br />
Vehicle theft: At 10:01 a.m., it was reported that a 24-foot white international box van was stolen from a commercial warehouse in the 9300 block of 151st Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Saturday, Dec. 3<br />
DUIs: A man was arrested for DUI after police pulled him over for a traffic violation near Redmond Way and State Route 520 at 2:23 a.m. There was another DUI-related arrest in Overlake near 520 at 12:49 a.m.<br />
Back home: A missing juvenile boy was found in the 9800 block of Avondale Road at 1:47 a.m. and returned to his parents.</p>
<p>Friday, Dec. 2<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to two different shoplifting reports and made one arrest. The first call came in at 5:31 p.m. from a business in the 17900 block of Redmond Way and police arrested a man in that incident. Another call came in at 7:16 from a business in the 15800 block of Redmond Way. There are no suspects for this incident report at this time.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Nov. 30<br />
Burglary: Redmond police arrested a man for burglary in the 7200 block of 153rd Avenue Northeast in the Grasslawn neighborhood.<br />
Theft: Officers responded to a report of a theft at a restaurant in the 17100 block of Redmond Way downtown. An employee noticed his jacket was missing at the end of the day. The incident was caught on video surveillance.<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police received two reports for shoplifting. The first was at 3:06 p.m. in the 8800 block of 161 Avenue Northeast. A man was arrested. An employee at a drug store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown reported a shoplift at 5:52 p.m.<br />
Vandalism: At 1:52 p.m., Redmond police received a report about a building in the 16600 block of Cleveland Street downtown that was vandalized.<br />
Suspicious circumstance: At 1:42 a.m., an individual in the 8800 block of Northeast 161st Avenue Northeast reported to the police that he and his friend were &#8220;jumped&#8221; by two males armed with handguns. The victims involved didn&#8217;t want to cooperate by providing more details of this case.<br />
Hit and run: At about 12:50 a.m., Redmond police investigated a hit-and-run traffic collision in the 16900 block of Northeast 80th Street on Education Hill.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Nov. 29<br />
Harassment: At around 9 p.m., Redmond police investigated the report of threats made towards a juvenile in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street on Education Hill.<br />
Suspicious circumstance: Redmond Police responded to a suspicious circumstance call at 3:38 p.m. on the corner of Northeast 61st Way and 148the Court Northeast in the Grasslawn neighborhood.<br />
Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft report at 8:28 a.m. from the 14700 block of Northeast 87th Street. There was no suspect information.<br />
Car prowls: Redmond police responded to three reports of car prowls. Two were from the Grasslawn neighborhood. The first came in from the 6200 block of 159th Place Northeast at 7:47 a.m. The second was at 8:45 a.m. from the 15600 block of Northeast 65th Street. The third car prowl report came in at 1:21 p.m. from a park in the 14900 block of Northeast 116th Street on Education Hill.</p>

<p>Monday, Nov. 28<br />
Burglary: Redmond police responded to two calls for burglaries. The first was at 11:09 p.m. in the 7500 block of 164th Avenue Northeast downtown. Someone broke into a hotel room while the tenant was on vacation. The second came at 11:11 p.m. from the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in the Overlake neighborhood.<br />
Possession: A man was arrested around 5:30 p.m. for possessing liquor and drugs in a city park located in the 7800 block of 168th Avenue Northeast downtown.<br />
Car prowls: There were four reports of car prowls. Two were in the Overlake neighborhood. The first was at 9:20 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The second came in at 2:03 p.m. from the 17200 block of 168th Avenue Northeast. Police responded to a report of a car prowl that occurred within the previous 24 hours at an apartment. An iPod was stolen. No suspect information is known at this time. The third report came in at 12:26 p.m. from the 9800 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill. A man reported his vehicle had been entered and his tools were taken during the night. The fourth report came in at 3:37 p.m. from the 6200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway downtown. Police investigated a theft of miscellaneous tools from the bed of a pick-up truck at an apartment complex. </p>
<p>Sunday, Nov. 27<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a shoplifting in progress at 10:48 p.m. in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road downtown. The suspect was not located, but was later identified by the video.<br />
Assault: Redmond police responded to a call for a possible DUI at 9:58 p.m. to a residence in the 16600 block of Northeast 108 Place on Education Hill. The reporting party said her daughter was under the influence of drugs and was attempting to leave in her vehicle. After police arrived, the suspect assaulted an officer by striking him in the face. The suspect was transported to the hospital and will be charged through investigations.<br />
Fraud: At around 6 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of fraud at a local residence in the 16800 block of Northeast 91st Street on Education Hill. The victim&#8217;s bank information was used to make an unauthorized online purchase.<br />
Grand theft auto: A report came in at 9:07 a.m. regarding vehicle that was stolen overnight while parked in victim&#8217;s driveway, located in the 10700 block of 151 Court Northeast on Education Hill.<br />
On the run: A man in the 18600 block of Redmond Way downtown reported at 8:44 a.m. that his girlfriend was fleeing the state with their children.</p>
<p>Saturday, Nov. 26<br />
Burglaries: Redmond police responded to four reports for burglaries downtown. Two came in from residences located on the 18600 block of Northeast 57th Way the first was at 3:57 p.m. The second was at 8:59 p.m. Two more came from residences on the 18600 block of Northeast 55th Way the first at 6:31 p.m. and the second at 7:17 p.m.<br />
Car prowls: There were three reports for car prowls. Two came from Education Hill. The first was at 9:49 a.m. in the 11700 block of 157th Avenue Northeast and the second was at 11:24 a.m. in the 9600 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast. The third report came from the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast in the Overlake neighborhood at 9:56 a.m. The victim reported his locked vehicle was prowled, sometime night the night before and his wallet was stolen. Victim closed his bank accounts prior to any fraudulent activity. No suspect information available at this time.</p>
<p>Friday, Nov. 25<br />
Marijuana: At 10:09 p.m., Redmond police contacted a vehicle occupied by three people in the 15200 block of Northeast 116th Street. Two occupants were found to be in possession of marijuana.<br />
Drugs: Redmond police responded to a disturbance in the 7100 block of 134th Avenue Northeast in the Grasslawn neighborhood at 8:56 p.m. One individual had an outstanding warrant and was arrested after a search incident revealed he was in possession of what is believed to be heroin. At 3:19 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of drug activity at a local apartment complex in the 9400 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill.<br />
Theft: At 11:42 a.m., it was reported that in the 15900 block of Northeast 98th Street on Education Hill, a man&#8217;s unemployment check was fraudulently cashed at an unknown location.</p>
<p>Thursday, Nov. 24<br />
Car prowls: There were two reports of car prowls. The first came in at 3:51 p.m. in the 11900 block of 165th Place Northeast on Education Hill. Redmond Police investigated a report of a vehicle prowl in a local neighborhood. The suspect(s) broke the window and took items from inside. The second call came in at 5:09 p.m. and was also on Education Hill, in the 11700 block of 167 Place Northeast.<br />
Driving under the influence: Redmond police made two arrests for driving under the influence. The first was at 12:58 a.m. for reckless driving, driving under the influence and obstruction in the 16700 block of Northeast 87th Street on Education Hill. The second was at 2:50 a.m. for driving under the influence in the 13200 block of Old Redmond Road in the Grasslawn neighborhood.</p>
<p>Wednesday, Nov. 23<br />
Driving under the influence: Redmond police arrested a suspect for driving under the influence at 10:08 p.m. in the 16800 block of Redmond Way downtown.<br />
Car prowls: There were three reports of car prowls. The first came in at 4:24 p.m. A computer and cell phone was stolen from a vehicle from a car in the 4200 block of 162nd Avenue Northeast in the Overlake neighborhood. The second call came in at 6:47 p.m. for a car prowl in a business parking lot in the 16100 block of Northeast 87th Street on Education Hill. The victim&#8217;s front passenger window was smashed and a purse was stolen. The final call came in at 8:12 p.m. for a car in the 16500 block of Redmond Way downtown.<br />
Assault: At 1:42 p.m., Redmond police arrested a male in the 16200 block of Northeast 83rd Street for domestic violence assault, harassment and obstructing.<br />
Theft: Equipment from a health clinic located in the 16300 block of Northeast 87th Street on Education Hill was reported stole at 12:05 p.m.<br />
Robbery: At 10:42 a.m., Redmond police responded to a bank robbery in the 15100 block of Northeast 24th Street in the Overlake neighborhood.<br />
Malicious mischief: Redmond police investigated a report for malicious mischief at a local grocery store parking lot in the 15800 block of Redmond Way at 8:05 a.m.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Nov. 22<br />
Car prowls: There were five reports for car prowls. The first one came in at 9:03 a.m. and was in the 4300 block of 156th Avenue Northeast in the Overlake neighborhood. Two reports came in at 9:25 a.m. and 10:07 a.m. in the Grasslawn neighborhood in the 14600 and 14700 blocks of Northeast 95th Street. There was no suspect information. Two more reports came in from the Overlake neighborhood at 2:20 p.m. and 2:51 p.m. Both car prowls were in the 4400 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Sticky situation: At 10:02 p.m., the victim reported that someone poured sugar into their vehicle&#8217;s gas tank, located in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.<br />
Suspicious circumstance: A citizen reported at 12:32 p.m. that he heard the sounds of people inside his residence in the 8300 block of 159th Place Northeast downtown.<br />
Fuel for thought: Suspects manipulated a gas pump in the 18000 block of Redmond Way downtown and obtained gas for free at 12:30 p.m. Video surveillance obtained.<br />
Theft: An employee in the 3700 block of 163rd Avenue Northeast in the Overlake neighborhood reported that his laptop was stolen at work at 12:25 p.m.</p>

Theft: Copper wire that was not locked up was reported stolen at 9:17 a.m. from a construction site in the 18500 block of Union Hill Road.</p>
<p>Sunday, Nov. 20<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a 52-year-old woman for shoplifting at a store in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street at around 6:30 p.m.<br />
Burglary: At about 1 p.m., Redmond police recovered a stolen vehicle and box trailer that had been ransacked and abandoned in the 14500 block of Northeast 116th Street.<br />
Theft: Redmond police arrested a 41-year-old woman at 11:27 a.m. for shoplifting and subsequently charged with obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.</p>

Burglary: Redmond police investigated a 3:37 p.m. report of a residential burglary in the 16300 block of Northeast 99th Street.<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a 55-year-old woman for shoplifting at department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast at around 2:30 p.m.</p>

Reckless driving: Construction workers reported a reckless driver on Union Hill Road at 1:58 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.</p>
<p>Thursday, Nov. 17<br />
Assault: It was reported at 11:45 p.m. that a suspect broke a bathroom door and assaulted his fiancé in the 18600 block of Northeast 62nd Circle.<br />
Vehicle theft: A vehicle was reported stolen at 7:17 a.m. from an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Avondale Road.</p>

<p>Monday, Nov. 14<br />
Trespass: Redmond police arrested an adult male for trespassing at a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161 Avenue Northeast on Education Hill.<br />
Vandalism: A citizen reported malicious mischief involving damage to his vehicle in the 15800 block of Leary Way.<br />
Theft: Redmond police received two calls for theft. The first was at a school in the 10000 block of 166th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill at 9:56 a.m. The second call came from a business a business in the 16600 block of Redmond Way downtown at 2:47 p.m.<br />
Car prowls: There three reports of car prowls made. The first was downtown in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway at 9:18 a.m. The second was on Education Hill in the 10900 block of 156th Court Northeast at 10:16 a.m. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was prowled sometime during the night. The suspect(s) stole his bowling bag and work identification card. The third car prowl was at a business in the 7900 block of 178 Place Northeast at 8:13 p.m. There are no suspects at this time.</p>

<p>Sunday, Nov. 13<br />
Vandalism: Two vehicles were vandalized. The first was at 7:58 a.m. with a vehicle parked on a city street in the 14700 block of Northeast 76th Street in the Grasslawn neighborhood. The second was in the Overlake neighborhood in the 4800 block of 156th Avenue Northeast. The vehicle had a smashed passenger window. Nothing was taken or disturbed and the vehicle was still locked. No suspect information is available and no premise surveillance footage is available.<br />
Thefts: Redmond police responded to five reports of thefts or attempted theft. The first was theft of a propane tank from a local hospital in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road at 3:20 a.m. A possible suspect vehicle has been located. The second was an attempted theft, also in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road at 10:01 a.m.<br />
A bicycle was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 15300 block of Redmond Way in the Grasslawn neighborhood.<br />
Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle taken from a department store parking lot in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road downtown at 2:08 p.m.<br />
A business in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast downtown had a cellular phone taken from a display rack at 6 p.m. The incident was captured on security cameras.</p>
<p>Saturday, Nov. 12<br />
Missing persons: Two reports for missing persons were made in the Overlake neighborhood. The first was at 2:02 p.m. by a mother in the 2600 block of 181st Avenue Northeast, who has not seen her 16-year-old son for several days. The second report was at 4:47 p.m. at a residence in the 18500 block of Northeast 25th Street for a missing juvenile. The juvenile was located and returned home with no incident.<br />
Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a car prowl in the parking lot of a movie theater in the 800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. The passenger side window was smashed and an iPod was taken from the vehicle.<br />
Theft: It was reported at 1:22 p.m. that a vehicle in the 18600 block of Redmond Way was taken without the owner&#8217;s permission by unknown suspects.<br />
DUI: Redmond police made two arrests for individuals driving under the influence. The first was of a Seattle resident at 12:36 a.m. in the 17100 block of State Route 520. The second arrest was a male driver at 1:44 a.m., westbound on SR-520 to the 148th Avenue Northeast off ramp.</p>
<p>Friday, Nov. 11<br />
Vandalism: Redmond police responded to a call at 7:49 p.m. at a residence in the 17200 block of Northeast 24th Street in the Overlake neighborhood. The victim reported driving down the road and hearing a loud noise against her vehicle door. There was an indent, which looked like possibly a mark from a pellet gun. No suspect information is known at this time.<br />
Shoplifting: A woman was arrested for shoplifting wine from a grocery store in the 15800 block of Redmond Way at around 4 p.m.</p>
<p>Thursday, Nov. 10<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to two shoplifting calls. The first was at a business in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in the Overlake neighborhood at around 4:30 p.m. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle that was later detained by police. One male was arrested for shoplifting. The vehicle was seized as evidence and towed to the Redmond Police Department. The case is currently under investigation.<br />
The second shoplifting call was from at a business in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street at around 6:50 p.m. Charges will be filed through an investigation.<br />
DUI: Redmond police responded to a collision at 5:11 p.m. in the 9900 block of Willows Road in the Grasslawn neighborhood. The causing driver was arrested a short time later for driving under the influence.<br />
Reckless endangerment: A shot was fired at a residence in the 6800 block of 149 Avenue Northeast in the Grasslawn neighborhood at around 4:45 p.m. The suspect was arrested for discharging a firearm within the city limits.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Nov. 9<br />
Suspicious circumstances: Redmond police stopped a vehicle at 1 a.m. in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street displaying a license plate tab belonging to another vehicle. Further investigation is required to see if the tab was stolen, the report said.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Nov. 8<br />
Slashed: A woman called police at 2 p.m. to report that her vehicle tire had been slashed while she was at work in the 8800 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Monday, Nov. 7<br />
Bike theft: At 10:22 a.m., it was reported that a mountain bike was stolen from the park-and-ride in the 16200 block of 83rd Street after the cable lock was cut.</p>
<p>Sunday, Nov. 6<br />
Suspicious circumstances: At 5:17 p.m., it was reported that a suspicious item was located at a religious center in the 17500 block of Northeast 67th Circle.<br />
Theft trouble times three: There were three reports of shoplifting, including one incident where police arrested a woman for three different charges. When police responded to the Sears in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast at around 3:30 p.m., they questioned the female suspect and discovered she was under the influence of methamphetamine. She was arrested for third-degree theft, possession of paraphernalia and third-degree driving with a suspended license. The other two shoplifting incidents were at a cellular phone store in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast and at a store in the 17100 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Car prowls in Grasslawn: There were two reports of car prowls in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast and another in the 7400 block of 139th Place Northeast.</p>
<p>Saturday, Nov. 5<br />
Missing person: Redmond police investigated a report of a missing person at 7:39 p.m. in the 16500 block of Northeast 37th Street. A husband got into an argument with his wife and left the house for the past two days without contacting her. There is no reason to believe there is concern for his danger, but his wife wants to ensure his safety if found, according to the report.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Nov. 2<br />
Theft: At 11:51 a.m., a woman who works in the 9800 block of Willows Road reported that prescription medication and a gift card were stolen from her workstation.<br />
Suspicious circumstance: An employee at a Redmond hospital in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road called police at 1:19 a.m. to report seeing a person looking into vehicles that were parked in the hospital parking lot.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Nov. 1<br />
Burglary: At 1:40 p.m., a realtor reported a burglary at an unoccupied house for sale in the 3800 block of West Lake Sammamish.</p>

Vandalism: Redmond police investigated an 8:29 p.m. report of a vandalized motorcycle in the 2600 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. Possible suspect information was provided.<br />
Identity theft: Redmond police responded to a 4:38 p.m. identity theft report in the 16500 block of Northeast 44th Way, where two store credit lines were opened fraudulently.<br />
Graffiti: At 6:51 a.m., it was reported that graffiti was seen painted on walls at a school in the 3000 block of 180th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Sunday, Oct. 30<br />
Theft: At 10:34 a.m., a man reported someone stole his garage-door remote from his unlocked vehicle in the 16200 block of Northeast 107th Circle.</p>
<p>Saturday, Oct. 29<br />
Theft: At 2:05 p.m., it was reported that someone stole a tool box and several tools from an unlocked truck bed in the 16500 block of Northeast 37th Street.<br />
Burglary: A man who lives in the 15400 block of Northeast 106th Way reported at 9:15 a.m. that someone broke into his locked garage and &#8220;took several items,&#8221; according to the police report.<br />
Assault: Redmond police responded to a 1:48 a.m. assault report at a bar near the corner of Leary Way and Cleveland Street. No suspect was identified.</p>
<p>Friday, Oct. 28<br />
Hit and run: A driver was arrested for suspicion of a hit and run after hitting a pedestrian with the vehicle near the corner of Northeast 85th Street and 166th AVenue Northeast.</p>

Shoplifting: Two teenage girls and woman were detained by store security and arrested by Redmond Police at 8:26 p.m. after they were caught shoplifting at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. </p>
<p>Tuesday, Oct. 25<br />
Fraud and forgery: Redmond police received a forgery report and two fraud reports. The first fraud report came in at 10:49 a.m. from a local resident who lives in the 15800 block of Northeast 24th Street and the second one was reported at noon involving an ATM fraud incident in the 16300 block of Northeast 83rd Street. The attempted forgery report came in at 6:15 a.m. from the 8700 block of 141st Circle Northeast.</p>
<p>Monday, Oct. 24<br />
Trespassing: At 8:52 p.m., Redmond police arrested three men for criminal trespassing in the 2700 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.<br />
Stolen bikes: Redmond police investigated two different reports of stolen bikes — one in the 9900 block of Willows Road and another in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.<br />
Vehicle prowl: Redmond police responded to a 2:13 p.m. report of a car prowl in the 16200 block of Redmond Way.</p>
<p>Saturday, Oct. 22<br />
Domestic dispute: Redmond police responded to a disturbance near a bar in the 7800 block of Leary Way at around 10:30 p.m. A woman was arrested for assaulting her husband.<br />
Hungry Canadian: An Ontario man was cited for reckless driving after he drove aggressively through traffic on the State Route 520 west bound entrance on West Lake Sammamish Parkway. He told police he was in a rush to get a meal.</p>
<p>Friday, Oct. 21<br />
Fraud: A man called police after he became suspicious when a rental home in the 15900 block of Northeast 95th Way was offered at far below market rates. The listing agent confirmed the residence was for sale only and not for rent.</p>

<p>Tuesday, Oct. 18<br />
Double trouble: Redmond police responded to a burglary at a business in the 9100 block of 151st Avenue Northeast at around 11:30 p.m. While conducting an area check, an additional commercial building in the same block had also been broken into. The investigation is ongoing.</p>
<p>Monday, Oct. 17<br />
Assault: Redmond police responded to a 10:11 p.m. report of a physical domestic assault in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street. The suspect grabbed the victim’s wrist and caused pain. The suspect was arrested, booked and transported to the Issaquah Jail.</p>
<p>Sunday, Oct. 16<br />
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 30-year-old woman at around 2:30 a.m. for suspicion of DUI in the 18200 block of Avondale Road.</p>
<p>Saturday, Oct. 15<br />
Graffiti: Graffiti was found outside a business in the Overlake area at around 10:55 a.m.</p>
<p>Friday, Oct. 14<br />
False reporting: Redmond police are investigating a deliberate case of false reporting where a remote caller is attempting to harass residents in the 4000 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast by reporting criminal emergencies at their residences. Several recent cases are suspected to be connected.<br />
Forgery: At 12:05 p.m., a doctor who works in the 15400 block of Bel-Red Road reported that a patient attempted to obtain medication using a forged prescription.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Oct. 12<br />
Robbery with a knife: A man carrying an eight-inch knife robbed another man of his money at the Bear Creek Park and Ride in the 17800 block of Union Hill Road Wednesday night. The man reported the crime at 11:25 p.m. and is working with Redmond police to develop a composite sketch of the suspect, according to police spokesman Jim Bove. </p>
<p>Tuesday, Oct. 11<br />
Drugs: Redmond police questioned two people in a parked car in the 1140 block of Avondale Road at around 12:30 a.m. Marijuana, paraphernalia and alcohol were found inside the vehicle. Charges are pending.</p>

Vandalism: A Redmond resident reported at 9:46 a.m. that street signs in the 9900 block of 171st Avenue Northeast were vandalized and defaced.</p>

Stop lying: Redmond police arrested a man in the 8500 block of Willows Road for providing a false statement.</p>

<p>Tuesday, Oct. 4<br />
Assault: At 5:30 p.m., Redmond police responded to a report of a fight at a parking lot in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. The victim said he can identify the suspects as police continue to investigate.</p>
<p>Monday, Oct. 3<br />
Fraud: A woman who lives in the 2100 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast reported at 5:39 p.m. that there were fraudulent charges on her credit card.</p>
<p>Sunday, Oct. 2<br />
Phone harassment: Redmond police investigated a 4:30 p.m. report of a telephone threat in the 10800 block of Red-Wood Road. The suspect and victim argued over the status of the suspect&#8217;s dogs and threats were allegedly made.<br />
Domestic violence: At 1:53 p.m., a Redmond woman was arrested for assault after she scratched and slapped her husband in the 8200 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Saturday, Oct. 1<br />
Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a 4:49 p.m. report of a theft at a grocery store in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street.</p>

Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a 5:23 p.m. report of a car prowl and an attempted auto theft in the 3400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Sept. 28<br />
Drugs: Redmond police found a vehicle at a park in the 18800 block of Northeast 116th Street after the park had closed. The occupants of the vehicle were found smoking suspected marijuana.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Sept. 27<br />
Assault: Redmond police investigated an assault at a bar in the 7800 block of Leary Way at 10:36 p.m.<br />
Stolen vehicle recovery: At 9:30 p.m., a vehicle reported stolen out of the King County Sheriff’s Office was located in the 16600 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Domestic violence: Redmond police responded to a 7:32 p.m. report of a disturbance at an apartment in the 7400 block of 159th Place. A person was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence.<br />
Bush man: A man was seen walking on the State Route 520 on-ramp at 148th Avenue Northeast with two bottles of wine at 12:50 a.m. He stumbled into the nearby bushes and found by Redmond police, intoxicated. He was arrested after he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana. He was depressed and said he wanted to commit suicide.</p>
<p>Monday, Sept. 26<br />
Assault: A student at a school in the 10000 block of 166th Avenue Northeast reported an assault at 3:34 p.m. The case is still under investigation.<br />
Burglary: A Redmond couple who lives in the 2800 block of 183rd Avenue Northeast reported at 7:19 a.m. that their vehicle had been prowled and their garage had been burglarized while they were at home asleep.<br />
Vandalism: There were two reports of vandalism in the Overlake area. The first one was reported at 6:15 a.m. by a resident who discovered someone had spray painted on the windows of her vehicle in the 17200 block of Northeast 20th Place. Then at 7:10 a.m., it was reported that graffiti was spray painted on the garage doors of an unoccupied residence in the 17200 block of Northeast 24th Street.</p>

Car prowl: Redmond police investigated a 7:41 p.m. report of a vehicle prowl in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 17600 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Saturday, Sept. 24<br />
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 38-year-old man for suspicion of DUI after committing a traffic violation near the intersection of Avondale Road and Novelty Hill Road.</p>
<p>Friday, Sept. 23<br />
Car prowl: A man reported at 8:02 a.m. that his briefcase was stolen from his father-in-law’s locked vehicle in the 16500 block of Northeast 44th Way sometime during the night. The suspect gained entry by smashing a window.</p>

<p>Wednesday, Sept. 14<br />
Drugs: Two different people were arrested for marijuana possession by Redmond police. First a 24-year-old Redmond man was allegedly caught with less than 40 grams of marijuana in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast at around 9:30 p.m. About two hours later, an 18-year-old was arrested for possession of less than 40 grams of marijuana and minor in possession in the 10400 block of Red-Wood Road.</p>
<p>Tuesday, Sept. 13<br />
Animal cruelty: Redmond police investigated an animal abuse complaint at 8:33 p.m. in the 2000 block of 183rd Avenue Northeast. The victim’s cat was shot by a pellet gun and had to be euthanized because of the injuries.<br />
Suspicious circumstances: A resident who lives in the 14200 block of Northeast 64th circle reported at 11:36 a.m. that she found property from a vehicle prowl in her yard.</p>
<p>Monday, Sept. 12<br />
Tool time: It was reported at 9:31 a.m. that tools were stolen from a storage container in the 18600 block of Northeast 68th Street.<br />
Storm drained: Multiple storm drains were taken from outside a business in the 15300 block of Northeast 93rd Street, according to a 9:08 a.m. report to the police.<br />
Watch-less: Someone reported at 8:43 a.m. that a watch was stolen from an unlocked locker at a gym in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast.</p>
<p>Sunday, Sept. 11<br />
Theft: A woman reported at 9:47 a.m. that her nylon bag, containing her vehicle and house keys, was stolen from an unlocked locker at a pool facility in the 17500 block of Northeast 104th Street.<br />
Fraud: Personal checks were stolen from a mailbox in the 15700 block of Northeast 54th Way, according to a 9:21 a.m. report to police.</p>

Bike theft: Redmond police responded to a 5:36 p.m. report of a bike theft from an apartment complex in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway.</p>
<p>Friday, Sept. 9<br />
Leave me alone: A man who lives in the 10800 block of Red-Wood Road reported at 10:34 p.m. that he was being harassed by an ex-girlfriend.<br />
Gun theft: At 2:32 p.m., a man who lives in the 9700 block of 166th Avenue Northeast reported that his loaded gun was stolen from his vehicle sometime during the past three months. He is unsure where the crime occurred.</p>

Reckless driving: Redmond police arrested a 22-year-old Bellevue man after an officer saw him going more than 125 mph on his motorcycle on State Route 520 near the 148th Avenue Northeast exit.</p>
<p>Monday, Sept. 5<br />
Drugs: Redmond police arrested the driver of a vehicle for possession of ecstasy, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 5100 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway at around 11:45 p.m.<br />
Counterfeit: Redmond police investigated a 6:13 p.m. report of a counterfeit $20 bill at a specialty store in the 7300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Unlawful access: A woman who lives in the 9200 block of Red-Wood Road reported at around 1 p.m. that her vehicle was taken without permission by a cousin.</p>
<p>Sunday, Sept. 4<br />
Burglary: Redmond police investigated a 7 p.m. report of an attempted burglary at a business in the 8300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. The suspect attempt to get inside the business through a window with a rock.<br />
Purse snatcher: Redmond police responded to a 2:16 p.m. burglary report at a residence in the 13300 block of Northeast 89th Street, where a purse was taken from a garage.<br />
DUI, drugs: Redmond police arrested a 27-year-old Seattle man for suspicion of hit and run, DUI and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute on Redmond Way at around 1 p.m.</p>
<p>Saturday, Sept. 3<br />
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a vehicle prowl at 6:11 p.m. in the 21700 block of Northeast Novelty Hill Road. The driver&#8217;s side window was smashed and two backpacks were stolen.</p>
<p>Friday, Sept. 2<br />
Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a 6:52 p.m. report of a vehicle prowl in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. A laptop computer was stolen from the vehicle.</p>

Theft: It was reported at 5:01 p.m. that unknown suspects stole merchandise from a department store in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street. </p>
<p>Monday, Aug. 29<br />
Laptop lifted: Redmond police investigate a vehicle prowl at around 6 p.m. in the 7800 block of Leary Way, where a laptop was stolen from inside the vehicle.<br />
Glued locks: A Redmond resident who lives in the 6000 block of 137th Avenue Northeast reported at 4:30 p.m. that someone put glue in the door locks.<br />
Lock it or lose it: A Redmond resident who lives in the 11300 block of 179th Circle Northeast reported at 2:28 p.m. that someone stole his mountain bike along several tools and equipment from his unlocked van.</p>
<p>Sunday, Aug. 28<br />
Domestic violence: A man was arrested for domestic assault at 1:03 p.m. after hitting his girlfriend during an argument in the 9800 block of Avondale Road.<br />
Kayak swiped: It was reported at 1:41 p.m. that a kayak was stolen from the Sammamish Rowing Association dock in the 5000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.</p>
<p>Saturday, Aug. 27<br />
Domestic violence: A man was arrested for domestic violence at 4:26 p.m. for threatening to hit his wife, grabbing her arm to keep her from leaving and for taking the phone from her when she called police. He was booked into jail.<br />
Fourth-degree assault: Redmond police arrested a woman for assaulting another woman at 1:53 a.m. at a tavern in the 7800 block of Leary Way.</p>
<p>Friday, Aug. 26<br />
DUI: A 31-year-old woman was arrested for investigation of DUI at 9 p.m. on the State Route 520 westbound exit at Redmond Way.</p>

<p>Tuesday, Aug. 23<br />
Car prowl: At 6:09 p.m., it was reported that someone broke into a vehicle, which was parked in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street, and stole a laptop computer.</p>
<p>Monday, Aug. 22<br />
Theft: Redmond police investigated a 6:27 p.m. report of a stolen iPad in the 14800 block of Northeast 36th Street.<br />
Marijuana: A juvenile was found to be in possession of marijuana after a 5:22 p.m. traffic stop in the 2800 block of West Lake Sammamish. The juvenile will be cited through investigation.<br />
Disorderly conduct: While in police custody around 2 p.m., a man &#8220;caused an undetermined amount of damage to a police vehicle after a violent outburst,&#8221; according to the police report. The man was being transported from the Northeast District Court in Redmond back to the Issaquah Jail when he began yelling obscenities at officers. When he was put into the transport van, he began pounding on the door, causing it to bow, according to police spokesman Jim Bove. He was transported back to jail and received an additional charge of malicious mischief.<br />
Fraud: At around 1 p.m., a suspect attempted to cash a fraudulent check in the 17000 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Theft: At around 7:30 a.m., Redmond police investigated a theft at a construction trailer in the 11300 block of 178th Place Northeast.<br />
Bombs away: It was reported at 6:53 a.m. that someone set of bottle bombs at an elementary school in the 17000 block of Northeast 104th Street.</p>
<p>Sunday, Aug. 21<br />
Car prowl: Redmond police investigated a 4:54 p.m. report of a vehicle prowl outside a business in the 16500 block of Redmond Way. Someone smashed one of the vehicle&#8217;s windows and stole a wallet and cell phone.<br />
Hit and run — and caught: Officers responded to a 2:14 p.m. report of a hit and run collision in the 8500 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. The suspect was later found and arrested.</p>
<p>Saturday, Aug. 20<br />
False alarm: A woman called 911 at 12:17 p.m. and said she had a bomb at the QFC in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast, but then quickly told the dispatcher that &#8220;she was just kidding,&#8221; according to Bove. The woman was arrested and it was determined she was a &#8220;mental, emotional subject&#8221; and she did not have a bomb, Bove said.</p>
<p>Friday, Aug. 19<br />
Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft that just occurred at the 7-Eleven in the 8300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast, where three teenagers walked into the store and one of them stole a 24-ounce beer. All of the teenagers ran away and police could not find them.</p>

Neighbor dispute: At around 5:30 p.m., Redmond police investigated a neighbor dispute over the cutting of tree branches in the 16800 block of Northeast 88th Street.<br />
Theft: Redmond police investigated a 3:51 p.m. report of a prescription theft in the 18200 block of Northeast 99th Way. Possible suspect information was provided.</p>
<p>Monday, Aug. 8<br />
Theft: A 22-year-old Woodinville man was arrested for suspicion of third-degree theft at around 3 a.m. in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.<br />
DUI: At 2:06 a.m., a 23-year-old Burien man was arrested for suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at State Route 520 westbound and 148th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Sunday, Aug. 7<br />
Assault: Redmond police arrested a 25-year-old woman at 12:54 a.m. for suspicion of assaulting her boyfriend in the 17600 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Theft: A man called police at 8:11 p.m. to report that someone stole his bicycle while he was on a dinner date near the corner of Northeast 83rd Street and 161st Avenue Northeast.<br />
Theft: An unopened flat screen was stolen from a vehicle while the victim was hiking in a Redmond park in the 21700 block of Novelty Hilll Road.</p>
<p>Saturday, Aug. 6<br />
Animal problem: At around 4:30 p.m., a child was bitten by a dog who had gotten loose from its owner near the corner of Avondale Road and Avondale Way. Information was forwarded to King County Animal Control.<br />
Theft: A man who lives in the 15900 block of Northeast 101st Circle saw on his surveillance video a man stealing his comic books. The man was hired to detail his vehicle.<br />
Statue of limitations: At 1:20 p.m., a statue was reported stolen from the front lawn of a residence in the 7300 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Friday, Aug. 5<br />
Threats: A woman who lives in the 18200 block of Northeast 95th Way, called police at 7:48 p.m. to report that she received a threatening text message from a former friend.<br />

Threats: At 7:46 p.m., Redmond police responded to threats made by an employee to an employer in the 15300 block of Northeast 40th Street.</p>
<p>Monday, Aug. 1<br />
Washed away: Redmond police responded to a 3:49 p.m. report of a boat theft at a residential complex in the 17200 block of Northeast 45th Street.<br />
Car prowl: At 1:31 p.m., a woman reported that her GPS unit was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while she dined at a restaurant in the 16900 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Theft: Sometime during the night, someone siphoned fuel from two company vehicles and stole a vacuum from a third company vehicle in the 15200 block of Northeast 90th Street.</p>
<p>Sunday, July 31<br />
Drugs: Redmond police arrested a resident for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at around 12:15 a.m. in the 9500 block of 180th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Theft: An employee who worked at a store in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street was arrested for internal theft at 11:33 a.m.</p>
<p>Saturday, July 30<br />
Fraud, thefts: There were two theft reports and another fraud report in the Education Hill neigbhorhood. The first report came in around noon for a theft from a building in the 11200 block of 184th Place Northeast. The second report was a theft from a vehicle at around 1:30 p.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 109th Street. The third was a report of an ATM fraud in the 9600 block of 169th Avenue Northeast at 2:44 p.m.</p>

Burglary: A residence in the 18000 block of Northeast 30th Street was burglarized sometime in the middle of night.<br />
Counterfeiting: An unknown suspect passed a counterfeit $20 bill to purchase an item at a department store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street.<br />
Theft: An Apple computer was stolen from a building in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.</p>

Assault: Redmond police responded to an assault that occurred behind the Bear Creek Safeway at around 3:30 a.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. The victim was struck in the head with a rock, but he would not provide any details of the incident. He was transported to Swedish Hospital and no additional victims or suspects were located.</p>

Car prowls: There were two car prowls reported near downtown and another in the Overlake area. Redmond police were able to arrest a suspect in one of the reported car prowls at 7:43 p.m. in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Sunday, July 24<br />
Theft: An MP3 player and loose change were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 9:22 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.<br />
Shoplifting: At around 2:30 p.m., a woman was arrested for third-degree theft at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Car prowl: An iPod and GPS device were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 6:38 a.m. in an underground parking lot in the 6300 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway.</p>
<p>Saturday, July 23<br />
Assault: Redmond police arrested a 46-year-old man for fourth-degree assault in the 13400 block of Northeast 119th Way at around 1 p.m.</p>
<p>Friday, July 22<br />
Drug paraphernalia: Redmond police responded to a 3:35 p.m. report of a suspicious circumstances where two people were hanging out inside of a vehicle in a residential neighborhood near the corner of 55th Street and 187th Avenue Northeast. An officer talked to the two people, who were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.<br />
Fraud: An employee of a business in the 17800 block of Redmond Way reported fraudulent activity by a customer.</p>

Phone threats: At 10:09 p.m., a woman reported that she received several threatening messages on her cell phone from an ex-boyfriend. The report is under investigation.</p>

Reckless driving: Redmond police arrested a 32-year-old Bothell man for reckless driving on Northeast 40th Street.</p>
<p>Tuesday, July 5<br />
DUI: A 50-year-old man was arrested for investigation of DUI in the 8700 block of Willows Road at 9:35 p.m.<br />
Theft: At 10:58 a.m., a resident reported that someone broke into a locked vehicle in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street and stole a wallet.</p>

Theft: At around 8 p.m., a man reported that the front and rear driver’s side windows of his vehicle parked in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish were smashed out and a gold purse was stolen.</p>
<p>Sunday, July 3<br />
Neighbor dispute: A neighbor dispute in the 8800 block of 166th Avenue Northeast developed over a resident repeatedly revving the engine of his vehicle in the complex parking through the day and evening hours.</p>
<p>Saturday, July 2<br />
Theft: At 7:41 p.m., a man who lives in the 16100 block of Northeast 83rd Street reported that his bicycle was stolen.<br />
Arson: Redmond police received several report that mailboxes were damaged with explosives in the 17100 block of Northeast 98th Circle.<br />
Graffiti: There was graffiti painted on several bus stop signs along 152nd Avenue Northeast between the 2200 and 2900 block.</p>
<p>Friday, July 1<br />
Theft: A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.<br />
Fraud: A Redmond man’s credit card information was used to make a $4.99 internet purchase.</p>

Pay up: Suspects took bottles of wine and cigars from a shop in the 16500 block of Northeast 76th Street and left without paying at around 6:30 p.m.</p>

DUI: Redmond police arrested an 18-year-old Redmond man at around 12:30 a.m. for investigation of DUI and possession of marijuana after he crashed into a fence in the 109000 block of 178th Circle Northeast.</p>

Drug possession: Redmond police arrested a 31-year-old transient man for suspected drug possession and an outstanding warrant in the 8400 block of 165th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Theft: At 11:26 p.m., a woman reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle in the 3600 block of 156th Avenue Northeast and stole her wallet from her glove box. Her debit card was later used at a gas station and casino.</p>

DUI: Redmond police arrested a 50-year-old man for investigation of DUI in the 7300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway at around 2 a.m.<br />
Vader helps Bellevue police: At 1:52 a.m., Belleuve police requested assistance with a narcotic sniff in the 15000 block of Northeast 12th Street in Bellevue. Redmond K-9 unit Vader sniffed the vehicle and alerted police that there were drugs inside the vehicle.</p>

Theft: Redmond police arrested a 22-year-old man for shoplifting at a store in the 8700 block of 164th Avenue Northeast.</p>

Phone harassment: A woman who lives in the 13400 block of Northeast 80th Street reported her ex-boyfriend sent her an inappropriate text message at around midnight.</p>
<p>Saturday, June 18<br />
Vehicle theft: Redmond police took a report of a stolen vehicle at 9:04 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 17300 block of Northeast 85th Place.</p>
<p>Friday, June 17<br />
Forgery: Redmond police investigated a theft of a check from a mailbox in the 3000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The suspects attempted to cash the check in Bellevue and then created a new fraudulent check, which they attempted to cash in Burien.<br />
Car prowl: Someone smashed out a window of a vehicle in the 3800 block of 165th Place Northeast and then stole a new pair of running shoes from inside the vehicle.</p>

Theft: It was reported at 11:23 p.m., items were stolen from a vehicle in the 16500 block of Northeast 91st Street.<br />
Vandalism: A student at a school in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street reported at 3:22 p.m. that his car was vandalized.<br />
Cold criminal: A store employee of a business in the 17200 block of Redmond Way reported at 1:47 p.m. that her jacket was stolen.<br />
Sniffing out crime: Washington State Patrol requested K9 assistance with a narcotic sniff on a traffic stop on State Route 520. Redmond police dog, Vader, indicated that he did smell drugs in the vehicle, which was seized by police.</p>
<p>Sunday, June 12<br />
Double trouble: Redmond police arrested a male and female for theft at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Saturday, June 11<br />
Car prowls: At 2:11 p.m., a woman reported that her vehicle was broken into while she was a work in the 15200 block of Northeast 24th Street. Someone smashed a window and then stole a computer and camera equipment.<br />
Bicycle theft: At 10:39 a.m., Redmond police took a report of a stolen bicycle from an apartment in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street.<br />
Burglary: At 9 a.m., Redmond police investigated a forced-entry burglary that happened overnight at a business in the 7100 block of 180th Avenue Northeast. Someone rifled through the office areas, damaged property and stole cash from the accountant&#8217;s office.</p>
<p>Friday, June 10<br />
Theft: Redmond police arrested a 20-year-old man for stealing beer and other items from a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. He was booked and released.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vehicle prowlers were in full force Saturday in Redmond&#8217;s Overlake and Education Hill neighborhoods.<br />
Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., there were 10 reports of vehicle prowls, eight in Overlake and another two at Farrel-McWhirter Park on Education Hill.<br />
Redmond police believe the Overlake vehicle prowls were done by the same person and or people, according to police spokesman Jim Bove. Police also believe the two vehicle break-ins at the park were connected, Bove said.<br />
Nine of the 10 prowls were smash and grabs, where a vehicle window was broken and items were then stolen from the inside of the vehicle. Another one involved an unlocked vehicle.<br />
Five of the car prowls involved some sort of bag being stolen, everything from a computer bag to an $800 Gucci diaper bag, Bove said. Other stolen items included electronic devices, including a GPS, digital camera, cell phone and computer.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Redmond police, with the help of a Bellevue police K-9, found and arrested a 26-year-old Monroe man for investigation of felony assault early Saturday morning.<br />
Redmond police got a call at around 3 a.m. that a man had been stabbed with a knife in the 3500 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast and was &#8220;bleeding pretty badly,&#8221; according to police spokesman Jim Bove. The Monroe man got into a confrontation with the victim, a 22-year-old man from Redmond, pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed the Redmond man in his forearm and &#8220;hit a major artery,&#8221; Bove said.<br />
The suspect ran away, but was later tracked down by Bellevue police K-9, Max, in the nearby woods.<br />
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where surgery was performed.<br />
&#8220;The last we heard, he will be fine,&#8221; Bove said of the victim.<br />
Bove said &#8220;it is believed there was a large amount of alcohol consumed that possibly contributed to the seriousness of the situation.&#8221;</p>
<p>Monday, June 6<br />
Theft: At 10:07 p.m., Redmond police arrested a 23-year-old man for shoplifting at a grocery store in the 15800 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Theft: A laptop was reported stolen from a parked vehicle at around 9 p.m. in the 10400 block of Willows Road.</p>
<p>Sunday, June 5<br />
Theft: A woman who lives in the 8700 block of 164th Avenue Northeast came home from the weekend and found items missing from her bedroom. The woman believes the thief is someone she knows.</p>
<p>Saturday, June 4<br />
Theft: Sometime between 2:30-8:45 a.m., a suspect entered a residence in the 6000 block of 185th Circle Northeast through an unlocked sliding glass door and stole a purse that was sitting on the table. The residents were home at the time and there is no suspect information.</p>
<p>Friday, June 3<br />
Harassment: Redmond police arrested a 42-year-old man for threatening another man in the parking lot of a grocery store in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street.<br />
Mail theft: A man who lives in the 8900 block of Red-Wood Road reported at 6:16 p.m. that a delivered package was taken from his front door.<br />
Racked: A man reported at 1:26 p.m. that his new ski rack, which was mounted to the roof of his vehicle, was stolen while his vehicle was parked at the Redmond Town Center.</p>

Purse snatcher: A 26-year-old Redmond woman was arrested for allegedly stealing a purse at a hospital in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road.</p>
<p>Monday, May 30<br />
Vehicle theft: Redmond police investigated an auto theft incident in the 9000 block of Avondale Road Northeast.</p>
<p>Sunday, May 29<br />
Theft: A 17-year-old girl was arrested for shoplifting at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast at at 5:30 p.m.<br />
Car prowls: There were two car prowls reported in the 15300 block of Redmond Way at around 10 p.m. The first one came in at 10:06 p.m. and the second was reported at 10:18 p.m.<br />
Graffiti: Police received three reports of graffiti in the Overlake area during a two-hour span and police believe the spray-painted damage was done by the same person or group of people, according to police spokesman Jim Bove. Two vehicles parked in front of residences on Northeast 30th Street were spray painted and the southeast corner of Audobon Elementary School on 180th Avenue Northeast was spray painted with &#8220;obscene language,&#8221; according to the police report. &#8220;No potential hate crimes or specific population targeted, other than their dislike for school,&#8221; Bove said of the spary-painted words.</p>
<p>Saturday, May 28<br />
Theft: At 7:41 p.m., a bicycle was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 18600 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Arson: At 8:52 a.m., an employee of a business in the 2200 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast reported a dumpster fire. When he arrived to work, the fire was out, but the dumpster &#8220;was still hot to touch,&#8221; according to police spokesman Jim Bove. Redmond police and Bellevue fire both responded. &#8220;The only damage was to the dumpster,&#8221; Bove said.<br />
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 37-year-old Bellevue woman for investigation of DUI near the corner of Leary Way and West Lake Sammamish Parkway at 2:42 a.m.<br />
Noise complaint: At around midnight, Redmond police responded to a noise complaint at a residence in the 14200 block of Northeast 72nd Street. There were no minors at the party.</p>
<p>Friday, May 27<br />
Burglary: A man who lives in the 4000 block of 168th Avenue Northeast came home around 11:30 a.m. and found two males trying to break into his home. The two suspect ran away and the investigation is ongoing.</p>

Disorderly conduct: Redmond police arrested a 42-year-old Port Angeles man around 8:30 p.m. for disorderly conduct at a bar in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street.<br />
Fraud: Redmond police arrested a man and a woman at around 2:30 p.m. for fraud-related charges when they allegedly used a fake credit card to purchase items at a store in the 16400 block of Northeast 80th Street.<br />
Theft: Two surveillance cameras were stolen off of an exterior wall at an apartment complex in the 8700 block of 164th Avenue Northeast, sometime in the middle of the night.<br />
Theft: At 12:17 p.m., a man reported that his Canon digital camera and lens were stolen from a business in the 16200 block of Northeast 74th Street, sometime last week.</p>
<p>Monday, May 2<br />
Burglary: A home burglary was reported at 11:36 p.m. in the 18600 block of Northeast 62nd Circle.<br />
Vader finds suspect: Duvall/Carnation police requested K-9 assistance at 10:48 p.m. to track down a fleeing suspect. Vader, Redmond police K-9, found the suspect, who was arrested.</p>
<p>Sunday, May 1<br />
Too young to drink alcohol: Redmond police arrested a teenage boy at around 4:30 p.m. for investigation of minor in possession of alcohol in the 3400 block of West Lake Sammamish Way.</p>
<p>Saturday, April 30<br />
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 19-year-old Redmond man for investigation of DUI after an officer saw him roll his 2004 Volkswagon Jetta onto its roof.  The driver had minor injuries, mainly cuts and scrapes.<br />
Car prowl: Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 7400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast and stole a laptop, which was located in the backseat.<br />
Vandalism: At 4:57 p.m., a woman reported that a man with two small children kicked her car after she stopped for him at a crosswalk on Old Redmond Road.</p>

Assault: Redmond police arrested a 27-year-old man for assaulting his girlfriend in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.<br />
DUI: Redmond police arrested a 21-year-old man for investigation of DUI near the corner of East Lake Sammamish Parkway and Redmond Way.</p>

Theft: Ten standpipe covers were stolen from a vacant building in the 2700 block of 152nd Place Northeast.<br />
Theft: Redmond police investigated a report of a stolen backpack at a school in the 13500 block of Northeast 75th Street at around 5 p.m.<br />
Family crimes: A mother and daughter were arrested for shoplifting from a grocery sore in the 17900 block of Redmond Way at around 3 p.m.</p>

Drug sniff: Bellevue police requested assistance from Redmond police K-9 Vader at around 2 a.m. for a narcotic sniff of a vehicle in the 700 block of 116th Avenue Northeast. Vader located the narcotics and the suspect was arrested.</p>
<p>Monday, April 25<br />
Identity theft: Redmond police took a report of identity theft at 4:49 p.m. via telephone. A man who lives in the 9400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast noticed that another man was using his social security number.<br />
Smashed window: Someone smashed a window at the office of an apartment complex in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.</p>
<p>Sunday, April 24<br />
Stolen bicycle: A bicycle was reported stolen at 7:58 a.m. in the 11400 block of Avondale Road.<br />
Car prowler arrested: Redmond police arrested a 25-year-old Lynnwood man for alleged car prowl in the 17600 block of Redmond Way.</p>

Mail theft: A Redmond couple reported at 10:31 a.m. that four checks were stolen from their mailbox in the 2100 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway and later used online to make payments.</p>
<p>Friday, April 24<br />
Car prowls: There were three reports of car prowls that occurred sometime overnight in the 4200 block of West Lake Sammamish. In all three car prowls, vehicle windows were smashed. In one incident, a laptop was stolen and in another a wallet was taken.</p>

Marijuana: Redmond police contacted a woman at Idylwood Park at around 10 p.m. and later found marijuana in her vehicle. The woman was arrested and her vehicle was impounded.<br />
Vehicle theft: A vehicle was stolen from a business in the 7400 block of 159th Place Northeast.</p>

Reckless rock throwing: A man who was driving through downtown called police at 5:12 p.m. to report that a rock was thrown at his vehicle in the 15900 block of Redmond Way. There are suspects at this time.</p>

Marijuana: Redmond police impounded an vehicle suspected of having drugs inside at the corner of Northeast 116th Street and 154th Place Northeast at around 8:30 p.m.<br />
Theft: Redmond police responded to a 7:18 p.m. report of a shoplift at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Assault: Redmond police responded to a 7:05 p.m. report of an assault at a bar in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street.<br />
Car prowl: At 4:40 p.m., a GPS was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 6700 block of 188th Place Northeast.<br />
Shoeless: At 10:46 a.m., a pair of tennis shoes were reported stolen from the front porch of a house in the 5700 block of 190th Avenue Northeast.<br />
Meds stolen: At 10:06 a.m., medication located inside a glove box of a car parked in the 6500 block of 190th Avenue Northeast, was reported stolen.</p>
<p>Saturday, April 16<br />
Fleeing food: Redmond police investigated a 10:57 p.m. reported theft at a store in the 17200 block or Redmond Way. The suspect fled with several food items, but was not found.<br />
Purse snatcher: A woman reported at 9:09 p.m. that her purse was stolen while she was shopping at a grocery store in the 17900 block of Redmond Way.<br />
Vandalism: At 8:53 p.m., Redmond police received a report of graffiti inside of a school in the 13500 block of Northeast 75th Street.<br />
Night prowls: Unknown suspects have been entering a City of Redmond construction site in the 16800 block of Northeast 116th Street and vandalizing equipment.<br />
Stolen bike: At 10:27 a.m., a bike was reported stolen from an apartment complex garage in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway.</p>

Burglary: A man was arrested at 3:42 p.m. for investigation of residential burglary in the 14700 block of Northeast 66th Street.<br />
Mail theft: A man who lives in the 16800 block of Northeast 39th Circle reported at 4:06 p.m. that mail had been stolen from his apartment complex mailbox.<br />
Wrong wires: A sub-contractor was caught stealing wire from a construction site in the 1600 block of Northeast 36th Way. When confronted by the employer, the suspect ran away, leaving behind concealed stolen property.<br />
Burglars caught: Redmond police arrested two men for investigation of residential burglary in the Grasslawn neighborhood.</p>
