Tuesday, May 8
Possession: At 1:47 a.m., a woman in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monday, May 7
Assault: Redmond police investigated a report of a domestic disturbance at 6:56 p.m. between juvenile sisters at a residence in the 8500 block of 173rd Avenue Northeast in Education Hill.
Car prowl: Officers responded to a report of a car prowl at 4:10 p.m. in the 15400 block of Bel-Red Road in Overlake. A laptop and a jacket were taken from the vehicle.
Malicious mischief: Redmond police investigated a report of malicious mischief at 2:02 p.m. in the 14500 block of Northeast 87th Street of Grass Lawn.
Theft: At 10:18 a.m., Redmond police responded to a report of a theft at a business in the 3900 block of 159th Avenue Northeast in Overlake.

Sunday, May 6
Theft: Redmond police investigated an attempted theft of a bike at Northeast 74th Street and 164th Avenue Northeast in Redmond Town Center at 5:59 p.m. The suspects were scared off before the crime was completed. Further investigation is pending.
Fraud: A Redmond resident in the 6500 block of 140th Place Northeast in Grass Lawn called the police to report a credit card fraud at 1:55 p.m.
Burglary: Redmond police were contacted at 12:02 p.m. regarding a burglary at an apartment complex in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway downtown. Several small electronics and jewelry were taken. There is no suspect information.

Saturday, May 5
Resisting arrest: Redmond police arrested a man at 5:01 p.m. for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest during an assault investigation in the 16200 block of Northeast 83rd Street downtown.
Assault: At 2:59 p.m., Redmond police investigated a fight between two juvenile brothers in the 8400 block of 161st Avenue Northeast downtown. No arrests were made.
Burglary: Redmond police responded to an apartment complex in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway downtown at 10:30 a.m. in reference to a burglary of a storage facility. There is no suspect information at this time.
DUI: A male was arrested for driving under the influence at 2:25 a.m. after committing several traffic violations at Northeast 70th Street and Redmond Way downtown.
Reckless Driving: At 1:18 a.m., Redmond police arrested a man for reckless driving at Northeast 8th Street and 148th Avenue Northeast.

Friday, May 4
Email harassment: Redmond police investigated a report of threats via email at 6:52 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street downtown. No crime was found to be committed.
Marijuana: An adult was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia at 1:16 p.m. at a school in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street on Education Hill.

Thursday, May 3
Missing Person: At 10:09 p.m., an individual in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street on Education Hill reported that their family member, a mentally ill transient, was missing.
Theft: At 2:34 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of theft of motor vehicle parts at an apartment complex in the 9800 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill.
Shoplifting: Redmond police received a report for shoplifting in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street downtown at 1:47 p.m.

Wednesday, May 2
Possession: At 11:51 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of marijuana odor coming from a hotel room in the 7400 block of 164th Avenue Northeast downtown. One subject was arrested and a search warrant is being obtained for items seized.
Bicycle theft: At 4:40 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of a bicycle theft in the 8000 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast in the Grass Lawn neighborhood.
Theft: At 3:38 p.m., unknown suspects entered a storage area in the 12300 block of Red-Wood Road in Education Hill and stole cleaning supplies for a swimming pool.
Burglaries: Redmond police took three reports of burglaries or burglary attempts. The first came at 2:25 p.m. in the 8400 block of 134th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn. The second report came at 3:12 p.m. in the 16400 block of Northeast 104th Street in Education Hill. Police also investigated an attempted burglary attempt in the 8000 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast of Grass Lawn at 3:22 p.m.
Marijuana: At 1:58 a.m., Redmond police investigated a suspicious vehicle in an apartment parking lot in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway in downtown. Subjects were found to be consuming marijuana.

Tuesday, May 1
Burglary: At 8:52 p.m., Redmond police investigated a residential burglary in the 13700 block of Northeast 74th Street in Grass Lawn where the front door was forced open. Several pieces of jewelry and numerous collectable knives were taken. There is no suspect information at this time.
Criminal Impersonation: Redmond police arrested a female suspect at 2:09 p.m. for using fake names at a hospital in the 18100 block of Union Hill Road downtown to receive treatment and medication.
Theft: At 8:53 a.m., Redmond police responded to a theft of four tires that were removed from a vehicle parked in an apartment complex parking lot in the 18600 block of Northeast 59th Court downtown.
Suspicious Circumstance: At 8:28 a.m., a suspect used an apparent fraudulent gift card to buy a large amount of additional gift cards in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast downtown. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, April 30
Vehicle prowl: At 8:31 p.m., Redmond police took a car prowl report in the 6200 block of 188th Lane Northeast downtown. There is no suspect information.
Shoplifting: At 8:15 p.m., Redmond police investigated a theft that occurred at a restaurant in the 7200 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. The suspect can be identified.
Mail theft: At 8:51 a.m., mail was reported stolen from a business in the 8500 block of 192 Avenue Northeast downtown within the past month. An outside agency has identified the suspects and assumed the investigation.
Theft of vehicle parts: At 6:58 a.m., it was reported that unknown suspects removed four tires off a vehicle that was parked in an apartment complex in the 17300 block of Northeast 85th Place in Education Hill.

Sunday, April 29
Shoplift: At 6:329 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported shoplift at a retail business in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street downtown.
Assault: At 5:24 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported assault in the 16100 block of Northeast 83rd Street downtown and arrested and booked a juvenile suspect.
Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft report at 2:49 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. There are no suspects.

Saturday, April 28
Possession: At 11:07 p.m., Redmond police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Northeast 85th Street and 164th Avenue Northeast downtown. A small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle.
Burglary: At 8:51 p.m., Redmond police investigated a residential burglary in the 8000 block of 138th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn.
Car prowls: At 1:27 p.m., a digital camera and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the victim’s driveway in the 14000 block of Northeast 63rd Court in Grass Lawn.
Fraud: At 10:37 a.m., Redmond police responded to a reported fraud that occurred to a resident in the 3800 block of 175th Avenue Northeast.

Friday, April 27
Marijuana: At 11 p.m., Redmond police conducted a drugs investigation in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street in Education Hill.
Vehicle prowl: At 7:26 p.m., Redmond police responded to a vehicle prowl in the 4000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway in Overlake.
Theft: At 7:01 p.m., Redmond police investigated the theft of several checks from a residence in the 16000 block of Northeast 95th Court. Suspect information was provided.
Graffiti: At 9:40 a.m., Redmond police were contacted regarding some graffiti that was found in the 7400 block of 164th Avenue Northeast downtown. There was no suspect information.
DUI: At 1:50 a.m., Redmond police arrested a local resident for driving under the influence in the 14800 block of State Route 520.

Thursday, April 26
Criminal Traffic: At 10:46 p.m., Redmond police seized two license plates from a vehicle following a traffic stop at the westbound SR-520 bypass to the Northeast 51st Street offramp. A check showed that the vehicle’s registration was canceled. The driver was not cited.
Malicious mischief: At 1:48 p.m., Redmond police took a report of malicious mischief of a vehicle at a residence in the 2800 block of 179th Avenue Northeast of Overlake.
Assault: At 8:18 a.m., Redmond police arrested a male subject for assault at a residence in the 7600 block of 139th Place Northeast of Grass Lawn.

Disputes: At 7:41 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of a neighbor dispute at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. At 5:18 p.m., police investigated a citizen dispute in the 4000 block of 173rd Court Northeast.
You’ve got no mail: At 4:30 p.m., Redmond police investigated a package containing medication, which was taken from a porch of a residence in the 14500 block of Northeast 66th Court in Grass Lawn.
Drug possession: At 10:10 a.m. a student was found to have drug paraphernalia at a school in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street in Education Hill.

Tuesday, April 24
Assault: At 11:45 p.m., Redmond police arrested a resident in the 2000 block of 173rd Avenue Northeast of Overlake for domestic violence assault in the fourth degree.
Suspicious circumstances: At 7:33 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report from the 10300 block of 155th Place Northeast of Education Hill of suspicious text messages sent to the petitioner in a court order. Police also responded to a report at 2:08 p.m. of suspicious circumstances at a bar in the 15700 block of Redmond Way downtown.
Fraud: At 1:27 p.m., Redmond police received a report about an incident referred to them by the Warrenton Police Department. The suspect changed the address on a credit card and sent the purchase to a Redmond address in the 8000 block of 145th Avenue Northeast.

Monday, April 23
Thefts: Redmond police responded to four theft reports. The first came at 9:48 a.m. Police arrested a male for theft from a retail store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast in Education Hill. The second report came at 1:34 p.m. in the Grass Lawn neighborhood. The final two reports came from Overlake. At 2:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle license plate theft. At 2:53 p.m., Redmond police took a report of a theft at a bar in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street.
Graffiti: At 1:30 a.m., Redmond police responded to a reported graffiti on the sidewalk in the 15600 block of Northeast 85th Street of Education Hill.

Sunday, April 22
Fire: At 10:34 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported dumpster on fire in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street of Education Hill.
Suspicious Circumstance: At 7:07 p.m., Redmond police responded to report of a possible pipe bomb in the 7100 block of 137th Avenue Northeast. A 2-by-10-inch piece of galvanized pipe had caps on both ends making it appear as a possible pipe bomb. The pipe was found to be empty inside by bomb experts.
Thefts: Redmond police responded to three theft reports, one in Grass Lawn and two in Education Hill. Among the items reported stolen were a Mercury 6HP outboard motor, which was stolen off a victim’s boat while it was parked near his business, and a scooter. There is no suspect information for any of the thefts.

Saturday, April 21
Shoplifting: At 5:48 p.m., Redmond police responded to a shoplift report at a business in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street downtown. The suspect was arrested.
Vandalism: At 8:48 a.m., Redmond police located a broken window at a vacant building in the 2700 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast of Overlake. There is no suspect information.

Friday, April 20
Marijuana possession: At 11:39 p.m., a man was found in possession of marijuana while officers were assisting him with his disabled vehicle at Willows Road and Redmond Way downtown.
Theft: At 7:57 p.m., a Redmond-area woman in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road downtown was investigated for theft from a department store and will be charged with theft in the third degree.
Identity Theft: At 5:39 p.m., a resident in the 13400 block of Northeast 111th Court reported that unknown person(s) made fraudulent withdrawals on her bank account from California.
Fraud: At 10:44 a.m., a complainant in the 2400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway reported that fraud activity had occurred involving their home-based computer consulting business. Numerous fraudulent business checks were cashed in several states and in Canada.
Possession: At 12:21 a.m., Redmond police conducted a narcotics investigation during the course of a traffic stop in the 11500 block of Avondale Road on Education Hill. The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, April 19
Theft of vehicle parts: At 2:45 p.m., Redmond police investigated the theft of four rims from a vehicle parked at an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Avondale Road in Education Hill. No suspect information is available at this time.
Forgery: At 1:33 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported fraud that occurred at a business in the 4100 block of 148 Avenue Northeast.
Vehicle prowl: At 8:33 a.m., a victim in the 7000 block of 155th Place Northeast reported their vehicle was prowled (window smash) sometime the night before and a black soccer backpack was stolen. No suspect information is available at this time.

Sunday, April 15
Theft: It was reported at 9:08 p.m. that three televisions were stolen from a business in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
Theft: At 12:18 p.m., Redmond police responded to a theft report of two bicycles from an apartment complex in the 16500 block of Northeast 35th Circle.
Vehicle theft: It was reported at 10:34 a.m. that a locked company vehicle — a 1998 white Ford van — was stolen overnight from the rear parking lot behind a restaurant in the 16600 block of Redmond Way.
DUI: At 2:10 a.m., Redmond police arrested a 30-year-old Redmond man for suspicion of driving under the influence in the 15300 block of Redmond Way.

Saturday, April 14
DUI: Redmond police arrested two people for suspicion of driving under the influence — one at 11:17 p.m. on State Route 520 and Avondale Road and another at 11:08 p.m. on the corner of Avondale Road and Novelty Hill Road.
Drugs theft: An employee at an assisted living facility in the 14400 block of Redmond Way reported a theft of prescription medication at 9:26 p.m.

Friday, April 13
Theft: Redmond police responded to a 9:14 p.m. report of a stolen bicycle in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. There are no suspects.
Theft: An electronic scorekeeper was reported stolen at 9:33 a.m. from a school in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street.

DUI: At 2:07 a.m., Redmond Police arrested a male for driving under the influence in the 7400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway downtown.

Wednesday, April 11
Harassment: At 2:09 p.m., Redmond police investigated a report of harassment in the 8700 block of 160th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill. The victim stated he received threats via a social networking site.
Theft: At 10:44 a.m., a male subject was arrested for trying to steal electronics from a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast of Overlake.

Tuesday, April 10
Disorderly conduct: Redmond police arrested a 22-year-old Redmond man after officers responded to a verbal domestic dispute at 11:21 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 90th Street.
Bicycle theft: At 12:59 p.m., Redmond police responded to a report of bicycle theft at an apartment complex in the 7900 block of 170th Place Northeast.

Monday, April 9
Burglary: At 9:31 p.m., Redmond police investigated a possible burglary of an apartment in the 18600 block of Redmond Way.
Theft: Redmond police investigated a 6:06 p.m. report of a stolen camera in the 15500 block of Northeast 53rd Place.
DUI: Redmond police responded to a non-injury collision at 12:48 p.m. in the 8600 block of 160th Avenue Northeast. One of drivers — a 21-year-old Bellevue man — showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for investigation of driving under the influence. Charges are pending.
Car prowls: There were three reports of vehicle prowls at an apartment complex in the 6400 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Burglary: At 10:30 a.m., Redmond police investigated a burglary in the 2400 block of 175th Avenue Northeast. It appeared that someone has sprayed a fire extinguisher all over the floor. There are no suspects or evidence.

Sunday, April 8
False alarm?: Redmond police investigated a commercial alarm at 8 p.m. in the 15300 block of Northeast 24th Street.
Theft: At 2:38 p.m., Redmond police responded to a report of a stolen license plate in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Shoplifting: Redmond Police arrested a 27-year-old Snoqualmie man and a 28-year-old North Bend man at 2:46 p.m. on suspicion of shoplifting in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Saturday, April 7
Suspicious fire: Redmond Police and Fire Departments responded to a suspicious fire outside the Archstone apartment complex in the 4300 block of 156th Avenue Northeast. There were no injuries. The fire was started in some kind of container and cause some damage to a building’s siding and door, according to police spokesman Mike Dowd. The cause of the fire is still unknown and the case is currently under investigation by the police and fire departments, according to Dowd.
DUIs: Redmond police arrested a 22-year-old Redmond man on suspicion of driving under the influence at 4:38 a.m. in the 8300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. Earlier, police arrested a 27-year-old Oklahoma man on suspicion of driving under the influence at 1:44 a.m. in the 16100 block of Redmond Way.

Friday, April 6
Shoplifting: At 5:54 p.m., Redmond police responded to a shoplift in progress at a business in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Drugs: Redmond police cited a man with unlawful possession of marijuana at 5:26 p.m. in the 11100 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast.
Theft: Cooper wire was reported stolen from a commercial business in 8500 block of 192nd Avenue Northeast at 7:18 a.m.

Thefts plague Grass Lawn neighborhood | Redmond Police Blottter, March 27-28

Wednesday, March 28
Traffic infractions: At 8:22 p.m., a vehicle was stopped in the 16700 block of Northeast 40th Street of Overlake for speeding and the driver was found to have a canceled driver’s license and canceled vehicle registration from out of state.
Theft: Redmond police responded to two reports of theft in the Grass Lawn neighborhood. At 10:52 a.m., a complainant reported a theft of property from an open rear parking lot behind a business overnight. At 4:30 p.m., it was reported that metal fence panels were stolen from outside a business in the middle of the night.
Harassment: Redmond police responded to two reports of harassment. The first came at 11:46 a.m. in the Grasslawn neighborhood. The victim reported possible email harassment has occurred this past month directed at her. The second came from Overlake at 11:53 a.m. for domestic violence-related harassment.

Tuesday, March 27
Stolen vehicle recovery: A Redmond stolen vehicle was located at 11:15 p.m. in the 17800 block of Northeast 95th Street.
Theft: Redmond police responded to a 9:41 p.m. report of a stolen wallet in the 16000 block of Northeast 36th Way.
Burglary: Redmond police responded to a 3:40 p.m. report of a burglary in the 6300 block of 137th Avenue Northeast.
Fraud: A man who lives in the 6200 block of 146th Avenue Northeast called police at 2:37 pm. to report that an unknown person fraudulently used funds from his checking account on an online poker site.
Assault: Redmond police responded to a domestic disturbance at 12:55 p.m. in the 16900 block of Northeast 104th Street and a suspect was arrested.
Burglary: Redmond police investigated a 12:01 p.m. report of a burglary at a residence in the 14700 block of Northeast 65th Street. The victim came home to find some power tools missing. There is no suspect information.
Theft: Redmond police responded to a 7:58 a.m. report of stolen copper wire in the 3200 block of 157th Avenue Northeast.

‘Tree socks’ damaged at downtown park | Redmond Police Blotter

Wednesday, March 7
Vandalism: At 8:18 a.m., Redmond police took a report regarding damage to a piece of art at Anderson Park in the 7800 block of 168th Avenue Northeast downtown. According to Lt. Charlie Gorman, city parks staff reported that someone cut up the “tree socks” that were part of the Artificial Light art installation at the park. He said one sock was completely cut from the tree.
Drug paraphernalia: At 10:32 p.m., Redmond police arrested a female driver in the Grasslawn neighborhood for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fraud: Redmond police received two reports of fraud. The first came at 8:10 a.m., from the 4700 block of 164th Place Northeast in Overlake regarding a fraudulent online purchase made last month for HP notebook computers, which were shipped to New York. The second came at 9:01 a.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street downtown. A man had more than $3,200 worth of fraudulent charges to his credit card.
Agency assistance: Redmond Police Department K9 Vader helped the Bellevue and Kirkland police departments during the early hours. At 12:46 a.m., Vader sniffed the exterior of a vehicle containing suspected narcotics in Bellevue in the 3700 block of 128th Avenue Southeast and gave a positive alert. The vehicle was impounded for a search warrant. About two hours later, Vader tracked down some evidence regarding an assault with a firearm call in Kirkland in the 6600 block of 130th Avenue Northeast. That investigation is still ongoing.

Tuesday, March 6
Burglary: Redmond police responded to a reported burglary at a residence in the 10600 block of 184th Avenue Northeast at 10:58 p.m.

Monday, March 5
Theft: Redmond police arrested a 21-year-old woman for shoplifting a business in the 17200 block of Redmond Way at 5:35 p.m.
