Sunday, July 1
Firework damage: A resident in the 9900 block of 183rd Court Northeast reported damage to their recycle bin caused by fireworks at 11:17 p.m.
Theft: Redmond police received two theft complaints. The first came from the 16000 block of Redmond Way downtown at 5:36 p.m. The second came from the 18400 block of Northeast 95th Street on Education Hill at 6:37 p.m, when donated food reported stolen the clubhouse of a local retirement community.
Recovered vehicle: At 5:59 p.m., Redmond police responded to a report of a recovered stolen vehicle in the 12200 block of 164th Court Northeast on Education Hill. Stolen mail was located inside the vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the registered owner.
Saturday, June 30
Theft: Redmond police responded to two theft reports. The first came at 4:32 p.m. from the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street downtown. A bicycle was stolen outside the library. The second report came at 11:56 p.m. A resident in the 8700 block of 164th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill reported a theft of some keys.
Drugs: At 11:44 p.m., Redmond police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 15200 book of Redmond Way in Grass Lawn. The odor of marijuana was detected coming from inside the vehicle. The vehicle was seized for a search warrant and one subject was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Vehicle prowls: Redmond police responded to four vehicle prowl reports. One was from the 9400 block of Red-Wood Road. The remaining three were from the 9200 block of Red-Wood Road. A GPS unit, a sweater and a Costco identification card were among the items taken.
Friday, June 29
Marijuana: At 9:30 p.m., Redmond police received a package smelling of marijuana from a business in the 18000 block of Union Hill Road downtown. The package was submitted for destruction.
Assault: Redmond police investigated a domestic violence assault in the 13900 block of Northeast 60th Way on Grass Lawn at 8:04 p.m.
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a transient male for shoplifting in the 17900 block of Redmond Way downtown at 5:23 p.m.
Malicious mischief: At 10:09 a.m., Redmond police investigated a malicious mischief in the 8200 block of 149th Way Northeast in Grass Lawn.
Vandalism: At 6:41 a.m., Redmond police investigated a vandalism report in the 3500 block of 173rd Court Northeast in Overlake.
Thursday, June 28
Theft: At 3:45 p.m., Redmond police investigated the theft of an unknown amount of metal from 10 HVAC units on the roof of a commercial building in the 00 block of Northeast 90th Street in Grass Lawn. No suspect information is available at this time.
Forgery: At 10:01 a.m., Redmond police responded to a reported forgery that occurred at an apartment complex 7000 block of Old Redmond Road. The investigation is ongoing.
Vehicle prowls: Redmond police responded to two vehicle prowl reports in the 6400 block of East Lake Sammamish. The first came at 7:44 a.m. The suspect(s) smashed the vehicle’s window and stole items from inside. The second came at 8:30 a.m. The suspect(s) stole items from an unlocked vehicle.
